The Flagship survived the storm but I heard the guy who was operating it went to jail for FEMA fraud . There website says they'll reopen , I heard otherwise. The pier is owned by Laundry's. I think they are gonna try n redevelop it .

Awesome -- ocean-fresh caught seafood, and springtime-fresh clean clothes! (Sorry, couldn't resist)

| | | I climbed up on the big, A/C units with my tripod but they vibrated too much to take anything usable.
I really wanted to fire up the built in man lift and take a ride.

| | | Ha, we said the same thing, also talked about base jumping. Your shots turned out much better than mine Barry, it was pretty gross up there. And yeah those AC units were spraying the rain everywhere, I had to continually wipe my lens. Regardless, it was bad ass.

Thanks BK...I don't do B&W much anymore, but the color original didn't really capture the cold, creepy feel I was seeking, and the B&W version did.

I <3 B&W. I've got a bunch of undeveloped 35mm film from the 1980s, sitting in the garage, and some of it is hand-rolled B&W. God only knows what images are left after 20 years in uncontrolled temperature and humidity conditions. If there's one good thing about digital photography, it's that I'm no longer adding to the "need to develop" box.
