|  | | | I wear my Converse from England if there's no chance of getting my shoes dirty -- so in old Houses/Currently Occupied Well-Kept buildings, etc.
Otherwise I wear a pair of really beat-up converse. Because it's impossible for a high-top to fall off your foot, just in case.

I demand pics of you wearing these while UEing.
Also, I wear my Dr. Martens, specifically 1460's. Sturdy shoes, great traction, and rather comfortable. They're everyday wear for me, so I don't see why I should bother with any other type of shoe, barring massive flooding or chemical spills. In that case, I have a pair of all-weather insulated hunting boots. The traction is less than that of the Dr. Martens on smooth flooring, but they're good for highly adverse conditions.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero. |
