I live in a pair of these. Except that mine are held together with epoxy and JB Weld. Think I walk funny, as all of my boots give out at the toes really fast.

they aint that good at keepin out the old h2o by they dry out fast enough and a extra pair a sox is easy to carry
one time i was in norwich and i had to drop zombies like nobodys business and of course i didnt have any paperwork right so guess how great it was to have a spare pair a socks on me!
i didnt bring them home though cause the zombies needed a blanket

I'll probably just go to the store and look for some decent boots. I need new ones though as these ones I usually wear for walking don't have very good support for my feets, as you can tell. Not as bad as my work shoes, though.
