Hey guys! I am Jay from NYC. I explore mostly Brooklyn and Long Island.

Hey Everybody, I'm Jonny and I'm from San Francisco. I've done some exploring in the city as well as outside but I'm looking to go a little deeper as well as meet some fellow explorers. I haven't taken any photos and I'm not much of a photographer but the next time I go out I'll be sure to bring the camera. Hope to meet some of you guys and have some fun (and relatively safe) adventures!

Hey all!! Just stopping by to say hello. I live in San Diego and I have been exploring for many years but only just found this site a few days ago. Anytime I go out of town I try and find what is near me to explore. I hope to learn from this site and contribute as well.

Posted by SecretSanta Hello! My name is Skylar. I am a explorer. LOL. I live a tiny bit south of Portland Oregon. I try to make it out to Portland once a week and explore it up. If any of you's live in or around Portland feel free to hit me up. DM me up. Also If you ever come by Portland from out of town and want to meet a local that has explored the terrain significantly hit me up too. I currently am in need of really cool friends to hang out with. I feel very alone. I do have my dad. He's alright. .

Can't use the name change feature if you have closed you're account(s)* I don't think Av takes kindly to someone who closes their account... or worse constantly keeps closing accounts and creating new ones. Oh my...
*Voluntarily closing your account is an act of supreme stupidity, subversion, legal desperation or a cryptic last statement of some sort. It serves no purpose that I can discern. Simply stop visiting this site rather than close your account...

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Here's a few photos i've taken over the years, i'm uploading more of them daily. DSC_1054-2 by hound Dog, on Flickr DSC_1039 by hound Dog, on Flickr DSC_0296 by hound Dog, on Flickr

What's up guys. I've from the bay area and I've been urbexing and shooting for around 2 months now. Stumbled around this forum a few weeks ago and decided to meet some new people.

Hey guys!! Long time lurker here from Texas (25/F). Ive always enjoyed the mysteries and decaying urbex world. Haven't been able to capture or physically venture off to explore. No friends or anyone to join me, and not too keen on going alone. Just wanted to finally introduce myself! I would really enjoy meeting some new people to start exploring. Cheers!

Hi all, I'm alex. I'm a US Military Servicemember stationed in south korea right now. Shooting film and trying to explore as much as I can right now, going to be here for a couple years.

I think it's time to explain a few things. First off, as a few people guessed, I'm not new. I've been an explorer for 10 years, just not a very good one. And there are people who just joined in 2017 and have probably done more this year alone than I ever will (looking at you, urbexninja and TheLostCosmonaut!). That being said, I'm here to explore. Experience, reputation, trust - not required. I don't care how new you are, or what you want to see, if you're close enough for me to get there in a weekend for a reasonable cost, I'll do it. I'd prefer upstate New York just because it's closest to me, but if you're in any of these states or countries, let's make plans: New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio, Ontario, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland, DC, Virginia, Florida, California, England, Wales, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania or Bulgaria. Hoping to hear from at least one of you eventually...
Please do not mistake me for one of those people...
Hi! I'm a new member here. I joined a couple months ago, but this is my first post. I'm originally from South Florida, but I've recently moved to North Carolina. I'm really enjoying the cooler weather, and it makes looking for abandoned places even better. I've always enjoyed taking my own tours of houses, usually ones that were under construction. There were dozens of houses under construction around the area I grew up, and I usually walked around the homes after the construction crew left for the day. I later discovered how fun it could be to tour the abandoned homes as well. And, as they say, the rest is history! So far, my most exciting explore was an abandoned prison in central Florida. I went about 3 times, and enjoyed each one. Thanks for reading! - Amanda Panda

I'm new here, but not to exploring. I've been to quite a few places in the past 5 years or so and looking to find more. I'm in the dfw area, but I mostly explore around fort Worth. Me and a friend go out every other Saturday and try to find new buildings and areas. Looking to find new people to go with and explore together.
And then I was victory. | |

Hello everybody, my name is Johnna and I live in Charleston, SC and I have been sneaking into an old mental hospital for months to take pictures. Unfortunately on my last visit, I got caught but I still have lots of pictures to share if I can figure out how. I practiced in the rookie forum....but maybe the pictures need to be smaller.

Welcome new-to-the-board-nut-not-necessarily-new-to-the-hobby peeps. Get to sharing some new and old stuff. Johnna use something like Flickr or Imgur etc to host and post your stuff. Then you don't have to worry about size requirements. Narrow your shots down to a few of your fav's, the whole quality over quantity thing. People here like history if the place warrants it, but don't like location name dropping. It's a fine line.

I'm Rachel and I live in Virginia Beach; I've been interested in UE for years, but I've never actually gone out and done any of it. I think my interest started when I first saw pictures of the DeJarnette Center; I was immediately absolutely enchanted by it. Since then, I've read pretty much most of what's out there about urban exploration, and made lists of all the places I want to go. Unfortunately, I've never been anywhere, in part because I don't drive, so I don't have any way of getting anywhere, and also because all the places I've found are hours away from me. I've found a few places near me, but then I discovered that they'd all been demolished. I'm not exactly a new member, but I haven't really utilized the site very much. Anyway, if anyone near my general area knows of any good spots, I'd love some suggestions!

Hey I'm from the Phoenix area and have really only explored one place, a coal processing plant in Superior. I created this account quite a while ago, but I'm just starting to post now because my friends and I are ready to actually start exploring.
| |
well iv've been on here two years and never introduced my self. I'm from Victoria BC. I found this site because of some people talking about underground tunnels in my hometown. So far I've only been in two storm drains but they were magnificent, one quite large. I'm planning more exploring this spring and summer and hope to post photos this year as I am trying to build a crew. Cheers
