Hey UER my name is Toby and I'm from the Louisville area in southern Indiana. I love to explore abandoned warehouses and factories and read the old documents they leave behind. I've only been exploring for about a year however it doesn't look like I will be getting tired of it anytime soon now that I found this community.
Every palace has a servants entrance. |

Welcome! To both of you! I also glad to see some new locals coming in to the DFW fold...!
I wandered till the stars went dim. |

Hello UER I already introduced myself to my region, but I'd like to say hello here too. I'm a 19 year old in Syracuse New York but I'm native to Long Island. I got started when I was 13 exploring abandoned psychiatric centers and then more when I started driving. Unfortunately, I don't really have friends irl that are interested in the hobby (they're barely friends smh) so finding a forum dedicated to urbex is awesome. I'm in college so I don't get the opportunity to explore much but I look forward to seeing what you all can do, going through old posts and with all the lurking I've done, I've already gotten lost in these threads. I don't have recent pictures I took, but I have a few pictures on imgur from like 5 years ago that you all might enjoy. The quality is pretty poor because some were taken on a cell phone and I wasn't really a great photographer then so sorry in advance. https://imgur.com/a/jui1i

Hey all, It's sick to find such an active exploration community. I'm an early 20's college student in NYC and figured I'd introduce myself. Since a child I've always had an above average sense of curiousness and a deep love for history. Along with those previous interests I'm also very into DH skateboarding and the adrenaline rush it gives. Urbex is a hobby that allows me to combine all of these passions. 2 or 3 years ago I picked up film photography and began taking pictures of my daily life. Around the same time I began checking out different places around Houston, NC, and Long Island/ Queens and coming out with some really dope shots (not the best but it's always cool to reminisce). My mom bought me a super sick mirrorless and it's opened my world. Now I don't have to wait a week/ travel to Brooklyn just to experiment with photography.I've been mostly going urbexing alone which can be somewhat sketch and thought this forum might be a good way to kinda enter the scene and get to know ya'll.

The only place I've been to in Queens is Creedmoor Psychiatric. I've been to Kings Park and Pilgrim in Suffolk. Where have you been?

Kings park as well. Haven't been to creedmoor. Ft Tilden is well known and it has some cool places inside/ in nearby areas. I'm not sure how posting areas works around here or if it's supposed to be low key. LMAO I can't even dm yet

I used to go to Breezy Point a lot but I never explored Ft Tilden more than just a look. And yea i prefer being low key but Kings Park and Pilgrim are already known to everyone on Long Island haha.

Hey everyone, I use recommended this site from someone that watches video's on my YouTube channel. I'm an American living in southern Italy. I recently started up a new section on my channel for "Urban Exploring" and "Ancient Exploring". There are tons of burned out and abandon houses here in Italy, so I started documenting them. But there is also so much history. Not just the tourist trap locations (which I have filmed) but lost monastery's on the sides of mountains that I have to hike too and abandon churches along with mountain peak castles from the 11th century. If these subjects interest you, Please have a look at my channel here: https://www.youtub...ser/SoCal308GTSiQV

Hey everyone, I'm Josh, I found this place recently and decided to give it a shot. I live in the Chicagoland area, currently living in the city. I'm a freshman in college and I really want to get around some spots in Chicago. I've been doing urban explorations for the past year or two, but I've been very interested in it since I was in 7th grade, when I learned about the Dixie Square Mall. I do a lot of photography, mostly urban photography. I am also one who likes architecture and checking out history of places.

Hello everybody, I'm Jay, I'm fairly new to this whole thing, but have gone to a couple of the well known places in western Kansas where I currently reside. I'm looking forward to getting more active and checking out more places around Topeka. Currently recovering from a broken hand, but if anyone wants to set up some trips or toss me a few pointers for a month or so ahead that'd be greatly appreciated! I don't do a lot of photography. but I got a cheapish camera recently so hopefully I'll be able to upload some of places I visit.
Problems end up in the the hospital, prison, or the morgue. Everything else is just an inconvenience. |

Hey guys what’s up. I’ve been doing this awhile and didn’t realize that it had such a large community. I live in South Georgia and always trying to find the new place before vandals do. Going to try to add to the DB with som places I’ve found

So I never introduced myself when I first joined. Figured it was time I did that. Hi everyone! I'm fairly new but have been interested for a while. Finally decided to get serious and so here I am.

Hello! To start off, I've always been interested in old buildings and exploring the unknown. I started off in high school and stopped for a few years, now I'm in full swing, researching, photographing, and all! Right now I'm living in centralish Texas (it's a college town..take a guess). I'll be posting my shots here, hope you all like them!
