| | | This was just the other day, actually: I was in the center of a vast cornfield, where there was a barn and a house located right next to each other (both abandoned). I opened the front door, and right at the doorstep lay a large deer carcass -- its face contorted upright, facing me. In the attic of this house there were 2 feet high piles of what appeared to be human shit, located at every corner. I haven't developed my film yet, but maybe someday I'll post em up.
"And it was, though more unutterable, like the crumbling away of two little heaps of finest sand, or dust, or ashes, of unequal size, but diminishing together as it were in ratio, if that means anything, and leaving behind them, each in its own stead, the blessedness of absence." |

| | | Same bird corpses? Connecticut. The whole building is just full of bird skeletons in a half-foot of feces.

| | | I had posted this in a similar thread a long-ass time ago.. But here's a family crypt I found in a forest nearby my cottage... After some discussion with members on this site I called the local church and notified them about the crypt. When I went back to check on the building I found it sealed up with concrete blocks. So I don't know what happened to the bodies. The writing on the coffins are in Swedish, so apparently it was an immigrant family who came to Ontario and died here. -- There were a couple children coffins too and all the coffins had the same date on them.. Mass family massacre? Who knows.

| | | Great stuff in this thread! Here's a couple of mine. This was just a run of the mill abandoned house, until I saw this in one corner. It could be either super creepy, or not... depending on how you look at it.
Found in the very top attic crawlspace by the only window... a bunch of boys names signed on the walls of an abandoned old boys military academy in Mississippi.
Lastly, an entire house filled with dead bees. So many, that the entire floor "crunched" when you walked.

| | | Oh yes.. I actually went back during the summer (thinking the house at suffered a sudden colony collapse type thing)I got in the front door and noticed that the door to the rear portion of the house was closed when I'm pretty sure I'd left it open the last time I was there. Anyways, I started to open the door and then heard the sound of millions of angry bees wanting to rip my flesh off and I decided to leave the door closed and head out of the house. By the time I got to my car, the swarm was already getting quite feisty from the backside of the house. They became very angry, very quickly. Ha!

Seriously, I'd be a shut in if I lived near you. My whole state only has about a house worth of bees in it.

| | | New to exploring, and was in a long tunnel, and had my light off for a couple feet. Suddenly decided to turn it on, then boom. Dead raccoon on the ground a foot or two in front of me. Looked like a body for a few seconds til I got closer. [last edit 2/12/2013 4:54 PM by nspyder - edited 1 times]

| | | Here's another picture I just found of the same hog jowls tunnel. You can see what I mean in this one about the jawbones all lining up in the same orientation along the edge of the tunnel. Hopefully this is a natural phenomenon I'm not familiar with.

| | | I recently went to explore a abandoned house. Before going in house I walked around the property to see if anyone was around, when I came around a corner there was a guying standing there with his hands in his pocket just staring. I know it doesn't sound creepy and at the time I think it was creepy. When I was going over the video I found the guy, he looked pretty damn creepy
