I had posted this in a similar thread a long-ass time ago.. But here's a family crypt I found in a forest nearby my cottage... After some discussion with members on this site I called the local church and notified them about the crypt. When I went back to check on the building I found it sealed up with concrete blocks. So I don't know what happened to the bodies.

The writing on the coffins are in Swedish, so apparently it was an immigrant family who came to Ontario and died here. -- There were a couple children coffins too and all the coffins had the same date on them.. Mass family massacre? Who knows.

If you know Swedish you should call the local church about THIS crypt that is identical to yours and was discussed in 2008.

After having spend 2.5 days in MSP, my entire understanding of this topic has changed considerably.

What am I looking at here?

The Durango '95 purred away a real horrowshow - a nice, warm vibraty feeling all through your guttiwuts. And soon it was trees and dark, my brothers, with real country dark.

Is there a manikin in there?

Or are my eye playing tricks on me?

What is so creepy about this picture?
(other than that it is so small I have to almost use a magnifying glass and squint to see it, and that it's set as a popup?)

I ran into this abomination last week. Even creepier, I've got two of those things sitting in bed with me right now purring, though they have all their flesh, skin, and fur.

So this is all the shit you never wanna trip over while exploring. Or touch, for that matter. Or even look at sideways. Or cough. Or possibly even key up a radio.

Nothing like finding stuff that can not only kill you, but leave nothing they could even ID your ....remains...with.

It's kinda crazy, standing there staring at that stuff.

It's like "wow, if I picked up THAT rock, and just...threw it...."

Then you walk away.

Hahaha. Intrusive thoughts. Just proves the creepiest thing we'll ever find exploring is ourselves!

So sorry, no pictures for this one.... wasn't allowed to bring my camera.

I lived in a city called Adiyaman (in Eastern Turkey, about 100 miles north of the Syrian border) in the summer of 2011. I had an internship with the Turkish Ministry of Forestry clearing hiking trails near Mt. Nemrut (where the famous heads are, see ancient aliens) for tourists and local shepherds. We were clearing a trail up to Yeni Kale --- the fortress below (not my picture).

The sign explains some of the history of the castle (was built by Ottomans to defend the Persian frontier), and how it's unsafe to visit because of the poor structural integrity. Another intern (very hot and Swedish), myself, three park rangers from the ministry, and a convoy of military police (there was still rebel activity in the area in 2011) trekked up to the castle to make sure there were no squatters and to monitor any structural damage that occurred since the last visit by the authorities (10 years prior).

We walked through the front gate and were on our way towards the main structure (where squatters were likely to be living) when we walked inside and encountered 4 bodies hanging from the ceiling (very tall ceiling, at least 60 feet) ---- they were completely decomposed. We continued tromping through the grounds and found at least 15 more bodies hanging from the side of the castle wall, these were much fresher and littered with bullets, the smell of death was rather overwhelming.

Suspecting the area wasn't safe, the military police escorted the rangers, the Swede, and myself down the side of the mountain and politely explained to us interns how the Kurdish rebels were barbaric and known to be cannibalistic (obvious ethnocentric lies), and thank god we had an opportunity to see this so we knew the truth about Kurds and how Turks are far superior... blah blah blah.

I intend on going back sometime in the future as I still have connections with the local rangers & police, very curious to see if said incident was covered up.

I may not believe in marriage, but I do believe in best men.
