| | | Hiya to everyone. My name's Eli and I'm from smack dab in the middle of Pennsylvania. I've always enjoyed exploring the abandoned parts of my town and really enjoy photography, although I don't own any cameras that extend in quality beyond the point and click category. Most of my friends, however, do have quality SLRs so the UER community can definitely expect some interesting pictures coming from my way.

| | | Hey!
This is Aaron and I live just outside Toronto. I've been exploring for about 9 years, but have only been doing it on a regular basis now for about 3 or 4. My friends and I (there's 5 of us total) target strictly abandoned warehouses/factories/large buildings (mostly late at night) and I always have my camera along for the ride. I have pictures of a few places we've been to but I lost a lot of what I had when my computer decided to crash a year ago, shame.
If you have ideas on good places to check out, drop me a line.

| | | Welcome guys. Just lending out a hand. I'm pretty new myself and if anyone newcomers have any questions, feel free to ask me. I wont jump on your case and I've made/seen a lot of mistakes on here...so might be able to help
And then, it asks the question: in a cold, uncaring, ruthless world of corporate slavery and assembly-line experiences . . . how is it possible to still live a life with strength, and passion, and with a soul that is still truly alive? |

| | | Hello uer.ca My name is, well, rzabomb, im not telling. :p I recently came across the site interested in the legendary/alledged tunnel system in Victoria BC, recently moved to that area. Though my adventuring days are limited due to my career, i am more about the abandon vehicle/100% accessible stuff. I grew up in Southern Ontario and spent alot of time in Detroit as a kid, and have been inside some gems there including Michigan Central Station and the old Hudson (?? i think, East Grand at Concord St.) plant as I know someone who still runs a business out of a bay there. Most of these adventures we before I was 10 years old , some with my father, some solo, but unfortunately no pics. forgottendetroit.com has a great set on MCS. Its a shame to hear Tiger Stadium is basically welded shut, but its still on the list should I return before it gone. Ive got my eye on a few things out here sort of, but time will tell. You'll probably find me in the western Canada forums mostly. Cheers

| | | Hello from Ontario/ GTA/ Durham I've been doing this type thing all my life since having fields behind my house as a kid and exploring the farmers' "haunted houses" and other barns and small shacks. The Whitby Psych was always a frequent visit until it was demolished. There was the Whitevale house with the large barn behind it and once we even thought we were getting into an abandoned house that turned out to be under renovations. Dumb teenager mistake. As the hobby has progressed, it has been more difficult to find places that really look awesome and give a thrill. With friends we enjoy UE and have started photgraphing a lot and will contribute all at once but nothing before as to keep some locations quiet for now. For the future, I'd really like to visit Centralia. Um thats about it for now, cheers and glad to be a part of this site! [last edit 8/6/2008 5:47 PM by nighttrekkers - edited 1 times]

| | | Greetings all!!! I am so very excited to stumble upon this site. I've been reading so many of your posts and have loved the pictures. Some of the pictures on here are superb!!!!! Some are even totally creepy. I have explored a few places but not near as many as I'd like to. As a kid growing up, my brother and I would meander around fields, barns and old houses. I guess thats what started it all...I have gone on paranormal investigations with a team called The Portal based out of Louisville, KY. I have been blessed with the people and friends around me that share this same crazed addiction to old abandoned places. Im a very active member in TN Paranormal, P.H.A.N.T.O.M.S.(a yahoo group), The Dead Can Speak (myspace group) and now this one! I will try and post my pictures of the Waverly Hills Sanitorium and pics from my Bell Witch tour in Adams, TN. asap. Such a fabulous place.!!! I just wanted to say hello and cannot wait to meet/greet you all. I live in middle TN and always willing to learn more on this stuff. Creepers I guess you call it. Highly recommend the book creepers... it will fascinate you. Thanks for posting pictures, stories and more. VERY VERY much appreciated. I look forward to chatting with you. I can be reached by yahoo messenger or email. tamlyno is the i.d. [email protected] is the email. Thanks again. Tam

| | | I've been on this site for quite a while now but don't post much. I live in Nebraska and have explored many abandoned farmsteads around my area. I'm not much for taking pictures but I might give it a shot on my next outing. For whatever reason I just enjoy the environment of an abandoned location and hanging out there. I finally got a wild hair and decided to make my n00b post.

| | | I've been on this site for a little while although I haven't posted much, but I never introduced myself, so here goes. My name is Amy and I'm 20 years old. I'm originally from the NH seacoast, but I'm currently living in western MA (Amherst right now, hopefully around North Adams in the near future). I've been interested in urb-ex for the past three years, but I've only been actively exploring for about a year. I'm currently working on crafting my photography skills and getting into as many MA abandonments as I possibly can. Belchertown is my current haunt of choice; I'm out there pretty much every weekend, tromping around buildings or driving through the campus. I don't know a lot of explorers out in this part of MA, so if you live out here and want to check some stuff out in the area, don't hesitate to PM me. I'm pretty much up for anything. Here's a picture of me at Worcester State taken at the end of June '08 by my friend and ex Conor:

| | | Hi all, Well I can now post as my waiting period is over. Yes I am new here. But I have been an urban explorer since before I was ten. Which is way to many years ago lol. Recently visited an old hotel in central Florida. I will post about it when I have worked how to do that and if I should.
Ok catch you all later and happy exploring.
