| | | | I'm "Denden" from Cincinnati. I have not explored as much in the past few years but have been to some cool sites in the past. Including the old Ohio Penn and plenty of sites in the Cincinnati area that are no longer around. We never took pictures of these (early 90's). We did not have computers or digital cameras we just did it for fun. I believe I'm older then most on this site and trust me the thrill never goes away to explore. It has slowed down a considerable amount to barely a trickle but I would like to get back out.

I've explored Toronto, areas in and around Ontario including Hamilton, Sarnia, Mississauga, and Buffalo. I really like power plants and old mills, and I'd say Toronto Power Company has been my most favorite location.

Just stopping by for an intro. I'm Wookie Boy, long time scholar of the wierd, conspiratorial, urban legandish, abandoned locus, and all around bizzare. In terms of U.E., my home base is the Chicago (Illinois) area. I've also done some exploration in the Cincinatti and Youngstown areas (both in Ohio).
Some of the places I hope to explore are the abandoned Cincinatti (Ohio) subway system, the old coal delivery tunnels here in Chicago, the abandoned Merrilville Academy extension in Norridge (Illinois), the Cuba Road Cemetary in Barrington (Illinois), and other places yet to be determined.
My most recent foray was to Idora Park, an abandoned and mostly demolished amusement park in the Youngstown/Boardman, Ohio, area. I hope to get the info and pictures up here soon.

tommorrow i allready have my 1st UE planned. gonna do my 1st one at a closed down drive in theater thats still standing that is totally overgrown and forgot about. i figure it will be a great learning experience, and pretty safe to do.
