Leo1: You cant just wander around Gary going into old buildings! Theres plenty of crackheads that will bust you in the mouth for that camera, then run a train your ladyfriends. Me: I like Gary, I think its nice, aside from the lack of eats on a Sunday afternoon. Leo2: Yeah, its really nice...until we find three dead strangers in an...abandoned...thing. |

| | | Damn, it seems to be a common misconception about this thing. It's Mouser WEEK. Perkins is just the kick-off. Maybe Asylunt needs to change that to be more clear...

| | | Well it's called Mouser week and I explained how it goes on for a week bookended by the big meets on the weekends. These people are explorers, if they can't read and figure it out then pooy!(To barrow a Flameism) Also gonna update this to say that it is very likely that next Saturday will also have a Perkins meet at the same place and time, so much that I really wanna make it official but haven't heard from others yet. Look for an official announcement soon. It appears that the second weekend is best for many so that may end up being a bigger meet than this weekend. Either way, we will be exploring all week long. Out-of-towners have 10 days they can choose from, oh and guess what, if you come two weeks from now, we'll still explore with ya. Asylunt [last edit 1/18/2006 8:47 AM by Asylunt - edited 1 times]

Yeah, well, maybe I like flirting with random strangers over the internet. Someday I'll meet a 40 year old sexual predator and be on the news. That's a good way to get famous, no? I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, I just woke up.

| | | I'm from Iowa. I've tagged along on a few adventures, and developed a taste for it. I'm new to the forums. I'm looking for connections and places to explore. What is the best way to get in on semi-local excursions?

| | | Greetings everyone. I've been lurking here for a while now just gathering info on different sites and decided to finally register. Been doing the UE thing, on and off, for much of my 31 years; currently I'm in my "serious mode", going out most weekends to different sites. I live and work in the city and am an architect with most of my work in historic preservation/building renovation. I've been to many of the locations that any UEr from Chicago has been to; I'm looking for more.

| | | Greetings all, Another Iowan here. I'm a student at Iowa State, but I've sworn off fooling around on campus until I graduate (end of this semester). Not getting expelled and all that. For now, just climbing random things (I love rope access) and poking around the surrounding areas. Anyone else around here?

I'm an Iowa Stater, too. Haven't done the rope access thing yet, my interest is sparked.
