Not something we found, per se, but last night I explored an abandoned power plant with two friends. This morning, when I blew my nose, it all came out black. Coal dust in the air somehow got into my nose despite the P-100 I was wearing while inside the facility. The guys I went with are having the same problem.

It was a nice surprise. Waking up, blowing my nose.. *OH MY GODDDDDDD*

If I saw that happening..... I would not be responsible for my actions and the bloody bodies laying on the floor....

Same here... Nothing in this world pisses me off more than when sick fucks hurt someone or something for pleasure, especially when it's a helpless, weak little guy like this. There are no words for how sad and pathetic these dipshit cowards are...

poor cat some people are seriously fucked up, what kind of people do this kind of shit, i mean shit the cat never did anything wrong and have some symapthy, if your going to fuck with the body atleast kill it first, just twist its neck or something, i couldn't handle seeing that, a dead cat okay no problem but a dead cat like that i cant help but feel sympathy and sick.

sorry that really got to me

Warning: SERIOUSLY screwed up.

I once found, in the old Empire Cotton Mill (Welland, ON) someone had nailed a cat to a wall. Through the eyes. The cat was alive when they did it, because you could see a lot of bloody gouges on its head when it was feebly trying to claw its way off.

I vomitted uncontrollably that night, and I still sometimes see it in my dreams.

thats just fucked up. Although I cant help but wonder: who the hell would be stupid enough to actually do anything from the JTHM comics? would you do something from a comic named Johnny The Homicidal Maniac? (if it makes it any better, it was a bunny, nailed through the chest, not eyes, and it became Johnny's friend.)

as you can see, he has a very positive message.

Following the local train tracks, I've seen all manner of wild and domesticated animals in various states of f**ked-uppishness.
In the abandoned insane asylum across the street (Byberry), I've seen geese, pidgeons, starlings, grackles, an opossum, one mummified cat, and one "sacrificed" cat on a makeshift altar just a couple of weeks ago. Oh, and a raccoon too.

My gross story isn't really gross in comparison to the rest of the stuff here (or as gruesome... but I am not complaining).

The upstairs of an abandoned house I went into was covered in dead flies. Window sills, floors, in spider webs hanging from the ceiling... must have been thousands of dead flies. And of course a few live ones, buzzing around..

I've yet to discover anything horrible...

Oh yes, arachnids!
In one pallet storage room in Byberry, near the *black hallway*, there are hundreds of silk pods dangling from the ceiling. It's dark and damp and the pods contain sickening white spiders. They're almost translucent but meaty and very quick. It's the only room in the complex that has this anomaly and it's disconcerting to say the least.

The one time I think i was scared while splorin...

A baby calf had fallen down an open manhole. The calf was entangled in roots that had permiated the concrete wall of the tunnel. With 80% of the flesh gone the calf appeared to be a floating skeleton suspended in a striking beam of particle emblazed sunlight.

Scared the bejeezuz out of me!

Whoa, that's gotta win.

I've just seen my fair share of dead cats and freaky big bugs.

Off topic, Jhonen Vasquez also does a book called Filler Bunny that is hysterical. Also if you like JTHM try anything by Roman Dirge (Lenore etc.)
I figure this is as good an off-topic as any to be my first post.

Johnen vaques (did i spell that right?)
is gonna be appearing at the toronto comicon this august 26-28, and im gonna harass him!

now as for gross things found while UE-ing...the only thing ive seen that was gross was a dead racoon, which isnt much but i discovered it while already walking around thinking it was an old carpet. scared the crap outta me.

things i find in houses usually help me name them. for example that house with the dead racoon i now dubbed the "racoon house" and all the other houses i explore i name after stuff i find in them.
Please tell me im not the only one who does this!
