I found a dead Skate (of the stingray family, not the roller variety) on a beach when I was exploring an island with my Grandpa.

Many years ago, a couple of friends and I checked out this old farm house in Southern Ontario. The place must have been 100 years old. There were a bunch of opened (though empty) tins of tuna laying around in one of the rooms. Someone baited the room and cornered a whole family of racoons and killed every last one of them.

I found a dead baby skunk once. I only found it when I noticed the bad smell, and looked for its source. Found it lying on its back with its feet up in the air. I was in some grass next to staircase. Looked like a dog or cat had just killed it for fun.

I'd like to remind everyone that should you ever find a portion of human remains (though not ones that seem to be the result of murder), I will purchase them from you at http://iwillbuyyourbodyparts.blogspot.com. This offer is good for your own parts as well.

Exploring a definct sewer trunk line in melbourne, we came across a decomposing dog that had fallen in through a sink hole in the roof. My exploring buddy (who's a vet nurse) said the poor bugger was probably stuck in there for about 2 weeks before he died of starvation.

Here's another image for the dead cat theme:

Not exactly me, but my grandpa, who used to go wandering through the woods near his house (I think I caught my passion for exploring off him), once found a dead guy in a sleeping bag on one of his wanders, slumped against a tree. Apparently the guy ran away from his family and job, tried to camp out in the woods in just a sleeping bag, and froze to death standing against the tree.

I've ran across pigeons in every state of decay (I even unwittingly put my ungloved hand into a pile of dead birds & feces that happened to be at the top of a ladder in an old hospital once). Also a dead raccoon, dead mice/rats, and I've seen 4 dead mummified cats in an old mill. That mill had a lot of live cats as well, we saw 3 or 4 of them while we were there.

I think that's about it as far as my memory goes. I hope to god I never find a body...

So there I was, in this creepy old hallway...

Once when taking a look through an abandoned mansion with my uncle. Pretty much every bathtub and sink was filled to the brim with shit. There was also a cat skull in the center of the floor in one of the rooms. I think the rest of the body might of been beneath the sheet of ice covering the floor.

Some Brisbane Cave Clan fellas found the remains of a hand in a Brisbane Subway tunnel. The hand was cut off from the base of the thumb, diagonally across not including the pinky if i recall from the photo. I remember someone took the hand to the police but i didnt hear about what came of the affair. Otherwise i was in a small tram weight tunnel with a large dead, rotting goose. Schmelly!
