| | | Posted by surekill I don't really understand what the big deal is about this overpass either. Streetcars used to go under this road? Now they don't? Who cares? I thought this thread was about secret tunnels downtown that people are not supposed to know about. Why are people so scared to start a new thread?
| Where was it ever stated that this forum was only about tunnels "downtown"? Did you know about this tunnel? Wasn't really very well known, was it? Kind of makes it "secret", doesn't it? Seems pretty "tunnel-like" to me......just as much a tunnel as the sewer and storm drains that everyone keeps claiming are "secret tunnels" used by trolls, troglodytes and leprechauns to ferry satanic voodoo stuff from place to place without being seen..... I suppose the fact that this one actually exists is a bit of a downer for some.....Destroys the mythology. Kind of ironic - someone presents a real live tunnel (and yes, it's a tunnel, check the definition), gets pictures, and tunnel purists look down their noses at its pedigree...."not dark enough". "Not long enough". Yadayadayada......

| Or Satanic enough? Is it enough to say that there wasn't a whole lot going on re: UE in Victoria a year ago, but now there is. Can we find a shred of satisfaction in that? There are tunnels in Victoria.
