I agree - the slate landscape is so dramatic. Slate is such an integral part of North Wales.

Think so. As far as I know, the site has recently been cleared, so it's all history now!

Thank you for this set of pictures. My son (who typically isn't interested in my interests-empty homes/abandoned factories, etc) LOVES trains and was captivated by your photos. What a shame that all of this is gone now.
