Description
Just a little experiment on my part, to create a 'Then&Now' type photo. Not quite from the same angle but the station building on the left of the photos acts as a reference point. Old photo was taken 24/9/1904.

Everyone should print out "before" pics and take them with them before going, so to make it possible to take the exact same standpoint.

  I agree - the slate landscape is so dramatic. Slate is such an integral part of North Wales.

  Think so. As far as I know, the site has recently been cleared, so it's all history now!

  Thank you for this set of pictures. My son (who typically isn't interested in my interests-empty homes/abandoned factories, etc) LOVES trains and was captivated by your photos. What a shame that all of this is gone now.
