I think they are going to buy The Baker and all surrounding properties, which include the garage across the street. I think they want to make it into a separate cool hang out place of some type.
And you never know, this might be the thing that one day puts Mineral Wells on the map. People drive for ever to go to the casinos at the TX/OK border, why wouldn't they go to Mineral Wells for something similar?
But who knows... I can really see how it could be really successful, yet I see how it might just sit there and rot and crumble to the ground eventually. I understand both sides.
I wonder why the 'for sale' sign is still up if this is really something that's in the works.

MINERAL WELLS -- A police officer with three years on the Mineral Wells police force was in Palo Pinto jail on Tuesday facing three arson charges.
John Gore was stopped in the area of Wolters Industrial Park after firefighters fought three fires there, one that sent one firefighter to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, according to authorities.
