I hate hippies.

Dude...you live in Vancouver. Find me one square city block that isn't infested with hippies.

I'm not antisocial. I'm just protecting others from the voices.

On a lighter note, I actually got out of my house for purposes other than work and school today. I was going to take a walk through a water shed area, but the water rose at least 1.5 feet by the time I got there. Came up to my knees and 6 inches past my boots. I'm not that gung-ho. I hate wet feet.

That's totally punk rock. It's how we do things in pokey old Victoria.

YO PETERMAN, let's sneak up on Tanuki and his bee friends and scare the shit out of him.

Old Soda Factory. No sign of any sodas however. Guess I'm 100 years too late.

Finally, like flipping through a little black book one lonely Friday night, our dry streak is ended!

Nice. I'd be interested in hearing what it looks like inside if you want to share, or message me.

I'd be into some of that again, JP. I haven't checked in in ages, so it's good to see some new posts and new faces. Welcome all who are newer than me (can't be many of you!). If the rain ever let's up for more than a day or two, I'd be up for getting my gumboots a little wet in the dark hours of the early morn.

Rain is good. Rain is a friend. Why? It generally keeps ordinary folk inside, away from some of the more interesting aspects of our abandoned buildings/structures.

Trust me...rain is GOOD.

I s'pose, but it also keeps ME out of my belovedly easy-to-explore drains! Speaking of which, I'm in the market for an unwanted/unusable skateboard, for the purposes of exploring smaller pipes. That whole Ross Bay affair put me off crawling for a while...

Zellers sells them for cheap, or try UsedVictoria.com
OR, pull a pedo bear on a kid with a skateboard.

Ahhh rain. Nature's human repellant.... If only I had hip-waders.

Exploring drains. During the rainy season. That's kind of like covering yourself with raw meat and honey during the Bear-Eats-Camper season.

Just my $0.2.

Hello all, this is jeff. You can read my intro on the rookie forum, or not. I'm just a very busy rookie explorer who attends Vic High and who's passions are blackmetal music, french horns, bicycles, and art. I've never been underground, but would like to go with some people who know what they're doing. I'm scared of poison gas. Now that I've figured out how to post, kublakhan(he kindly tried to help me), I shall post a ton of new and interesting info on this forum that I hope is new for all of you. As soon as i get time. Have a good dy all,
jeff
