| | | I know that there is bias in the media here. I also know that the US has done horrible things over ideology, resources, land, etc. However many things the West has done, should not be used as an excuse for another country taking similar actions. Overall, whataboutism does not solve any problems, and is just used to justify injust actions. targeting civilians, which I haven't seen evidence of, |
Here is a source of the killing of civilians: Russian Forces Fired On Civilian Vehicles Civilians Killed Trying to Flee, Approaching Checkpoints Is it OK if you tell me the source of your news? Edit 1: Fixed a few mistakes and polished up writing a bit.

When I looked at this source, I saw several conspiracy theories promoted. A couple of these are deep state and anti-vaccine theories. I am however, thankful that you gave a few sources.
| Yes, chances are when you leave the mainstream media matrix, you'll find some opinions and ideas that make you uncomfortable and tick certain boxes they have given you ("pro-Putin", "antivax", "conspiracy theorist", etc.). Dig a little bit more, and you might find that these boxes were actually created by people with a vested interested in shutting down certain kinds of dissent -- the classic example being the CIA's introduction of the term "conspiracy theorist" in the 1960s to try to discredit people who criticized their criminal antics around the world (Oh sorry, is this a "conspiracy theory"? Nope; documented fact). So yes, some of these places may be rabbit holes to various kinds of wrong-thinking, and if this scares you then I guess you can just keep watching CNN and believing what they tell you--at least until events on the ground make that impossible, at which point you can try to memory-hole the whole thing (see Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.).
