What an awesome idea. When cops see a flaming object emitting unknown smoke towards them they usually decide that the trespassing suspect isn't worth chasing anymore. They certainly wouldn't increase their efforts to catch an suspected arsonist or someone attempting to assault an officer.

| | | This is a very intersesting thread. I have seen a lot of stuff posted here about whether a security gaurd has the power to arrest someone. In the U.S. anyone can arrest anyone,it's called a citezen's arrest. However, the laws regauding this are very strict in favor of the person being arrested. If the citezens aresst turns out to be unwarrented or untrue than the person who did the arrest can and most likley will be charged with false inprisonment(a felony) and is pretty much at the mercy of the arrested person as far as civil lawsuits go. This is why most security companys shy away from leting thier officers make arrests, and why most security won't try to detain you. I firmly believe in the try to talk your way out of it method. This approach is much better for adults. As a teenager you are much more likely to get popped than as a thrirty somthing adult. I once was able to get the security to leave after I told them I was thinking about making a offer to buy the property, they were like "sorry to have bothered you and please be carful around the buildings as there are a lot of nail filled boards around." Running from the real police is generaly a bad idea, running from security however....another story alltogether. Of course the best is to remain unseen and undetected. Iv'e been U.Eing for years and years and have never been busted. On a couple of different occasions I have had to do some explaining and been told to leave a area. Down in philly at one of the big sites there this summer we had the police show up and yell in through a window for us to get out of there, but they were NOT going to come in after us and we just waundered away from them and they left. I wish it was always like that....

This method works wonders. 1) Research the site or at least find out who owns the property. 2) If you are confronted by LEOs or RCs (or WICs) just say "I'm interested in purchasing this property, but before I contact Mr. Wickham of blah-blah&blah, I want to know what I'm dealing with from a standpoint of liability and value BLAH BLAH BLAH." That's an immediate back-stage pass. Natch, a teen can't pull that off.

| | | Well to get out of bieng caught i would carry some money and try to bribe the guard, the odd time they may accept the money OR better yet... make some counterfit money and when running drop some when running all you need is a scanner a 20 dollar bill and starchy paper.

I think, if you actually ever head out on a real UE mission, you will find that this idea wouldn't work. Why not just run from the guard? Trying to make counterfit money in the hopes of a guard picking it up is also not exactly the best plan.

| | | Well no shit making counterfit money is a stupid idea. FIRSTLY you can be charged for making the money in the first place (I was just bieng assenine). SECONDLY I have been on a 'real' UE mission (during night-time) AND chased by a guard. What i did to get away was use my c-cell maglite and blasted the guard with the spot beam in the eyes, then I ran in a flat out sprint and found a rather tall wood fence and scaled it. The guard was somewhat chunky so it took him a while to scale the fence (I could hear him trying to climb over) so when he finally got over I dissapeared into the woods and made my way up a tree. Waiting for several minutes armed with my monocular looking to see if he was coming (I was fortunate he did not) then with a quiet sigh of relief I left the area via a neighbouring townhouse complex.

Well agility does not come easy, I had to work lond and hard to be able to haul my ass over a 6' fence in a second. Also being able to run for 3-4 kilometers at a high rate of speed helps your ability to evade your chaser. If you want I could give you some instructions to build the muscle groups that would lift your body weight more easily. (btw... I am |337.) W007!

Like, I really wish I lived closer to London, ya know. It would be, like...just so KEWL ya' know...to hang out and `splore with someone with near-superhero powers and stuff. Can you do yogic flying or...I dunno, like - shoot lightning bolts from your arse? Like, that'd be like, way kewl, too.
