Hi all UER'ers. My name is matt, I'm a photographer and artist. I like travel and extended living in foreign countries. I've just returned to the United states after a stint of living in Paris for just over a year. I also draw and paint. I'm super into art, music, filmmaking, photography and of course urban exploring. I first started exploration when I was in high school doing high school shit like getting on rooftops in my hometown, which kept expanding and getting more intense as I got older. My favourite urbex mission I have done is with my best friend BUNKED who is also on this forum, where we found and abandoned hospital in the center of Paris. We snuck through a nunnery and scaled a 15-20 foot wall + fence to enter. We knew the place was getting ready for demolition, so we had to take precautions with security and police patrols. All the trouble and avoidance we went through was worth it though as we found so much fascinating information, sights, and left behind relics once inside!!!

Hi everyone! I have known about this website since about 2012 or 2013 and I have been a lurker on here for a while now and recently decided to join. History has always been an interest of mine and when pairing it with urban exploration, that opens up a lot of new possibilities! I live in Alberta, Canada and recently moved near Edmonton and have mainly done solo-exploring and don't know many people in this community. I am new to this beautiful province and I want to get out and explore it more. I would say that my favorite thing to check out is old abandoned farmsteads, and also would love to give roof topping a try and would love to find a group to do it with! A little about myself, I would say vehicles are my biggest passion but I also enjoy a range of things from off-roading, to photography, to working out, reading, personal development, and more. Please feel free to reach out, I am always down to chat and always looking to make new friends. Thanks for reading. Have yourselves a great day/night!

Hello everyone. This is my first post on these forums. I'm brand new to this hobby and I'm looking to build some local connections here in Colorado. I plan on posting in the regional forums soon! I've never done what I would consider urban exploring before. I've done some caving and lots of exploring on my mountain bike so I would consider myself a very adventurous person. I discovered urbex through some youtube videos and the idea of visiting old buildings became fascinating to me. Something about seeing the dilapidated ruins of a place that was once full of life is very intriguing to me. That being said as I begin to establish myself as an urban explorer I promise to be respectful of the sites that I visit. I have already picked out the site of my first outing and I'm super excited to share my pictures and experiences here.

Welcome to UER! I just moved out of Fort Collins. I had a difficult time finding any big abandonments. The real estate market along the front range is so insane that buildings usually aren't empty for long. If you see something, don't wait on it, but be cautious. Looking forward to see what you find I don't have a ton our experience in Colorado, but my inbox is always open!

Realizing I never introduced myself so! Here! I'm Mason! A Photography Nerd ExtraordinaireTM with a love for old tech and creepy shtuff. So far I haven't been able to actually find any non-demolished spots around me, and haven't been able to find any groups near me that actually do UrbEx, but that's the goal ! Hope to be sharing my pics and stupid opinions with you all soon :]

Hi, I'm from Alberta, Canada, 18, only started actually going out and exploring some months ago, but I've been interested from afar for awhile. I joined UER looking to meet other explorers, share some pictures, and discuss the hobby in general. The forum looks useful and interesting so far, and I hope to be here long term. Thanks for having me :) Attaching an image to test.

Chema here, adventure and Urban Exploration have always baffled me. Google earth has came to be my friend & I’ll spend hours just looking for interesting spots… once I find a spot, with in 30 mins I’m ready to leave & head for exploration ! I’ve had a few instances where im chased by rangers due to us Exploring Gold mines in the mountains. This community feels like a family, knowing that so many of you also enjoy the feeling of Illegal Freedom. I’ve hit multiple spots from this website unfortunately I’m still a basic member, best believe I will earn that full member with my flicks & contributions to this amazing community.

Posted by Opheliaism First off, welcome to the UER forums! If you would like to introduce yourself to the forums before you begin posting, please feel free to do so in this thread. This is not required, of course, because the best way to introduce yourself is always by making some contributions to the forums. If you would like to introduce yourself to a specific region, you may do so, but any introductions posted in other sections may be moved here if it is deemed more appropriate in this thread. Please take the time to read the FAQ and the forum rules and it is highly suggested that you read some of the threads to familiarize yourself with how things work around here. There is also a Search feature that can be utilized to eliminate posting duplicate threads and inquiries. If you have questions or problems, please feel free to use the Contact a Moderator board. Veteran Members: Please reply to introductions only if you have something more to contribute other than "Welcome to the forums!"

Yo, name’s Skimmy. Young dude getting into this whole urbex thing and heard this was a good community to talk about stuff related to it. I know some of the basic stuff (no sharing locations unless it’s to trusted people, no destroying stuff, and all the courtesies) but wanna learn more and eventually take some photos (need to pick up a wide lense for my camera) and practice my photography. Also I just wanna explore and have fun.

Hi everyone, I’m Brett and I love in the Metro Vancouver Area of BC. Me and a couple of friends have recently been getting into this hobby and are hoping to explore it further!
