Hey all, Checking in from New Hampshire. I'm hardly in an "urban" area but exploring is something I love to do, either on foot or in my Jeep. I've always been really into abandoned places and the history behind them. I'll share a few things once I get some good pictures.

heya! annie here, i technically joined the forum a few months ago when i was just using the map to find places nearby to explore, but i think it's about time i become an actual active member. i'm fairly new to urbex (haven't really been anywhere cool except some abandoned houses and a not-so-abandoned construction site) but i'm quite interested in it. recently i've been reading the infiltration zine and reading about ninjalicious, and hearing what people have to say about the guy really inspires me to get more into the hobby. rest in peace.

Hello everyone! I'm jumping in from the Chicago suburbs although I've also lived in Nashville and done some exploring there as well. Excited to finally have some time to participate in these forums, I've been lurking for a while and unfortunately things have gotten in the way. Besides enjoying photography as I'm sure many others on here do, I also have a passion for running, wakeboarding and skiing. Looking forward to getting to know the community and contributing what I can back to you guys!

Hello everyone! My name is Jasper, I’m from Toronto, Canada. I have recently been exploring the online presence of Urbex and stumbled across UER. Although my account is new, I have been exploring locations around the GTA (greater Toronto area) for about 5 years, and before that was avidly participating in the geocache community. I’m extremely glad to have found this online community that shares an interest in Urbex. I have many pictures of my outings, but it seems they’re all larger than the max upload size. Anyways, looking forward to learning more, and experiencing more in this community.

Hi everyone! I'm Kendra from Chicago. I've been exploring since 2013 but got more serious about it because of the pandemic. I try to go out at least once a week. I'm basically glued to my camera and my headlamp now! One of my first explores was a well-known amusement park in the South, but I've been all over trying to find new old places. I'd love to meet up with more people in my area. I see a few of you are from the suburbs and Rockford. Hi!!!

Long time lurker, second reply ever. I moved out east (US) a couple months back from a state that has bulldozed and modernized everything in sight. PA has rekindled my love for things abandoned, deteriorated, and sometimes plain moldy haha I look forward to chatting here and rekindling my fascination for UE

Hey guys, Cara here. I'm from Toronto (more specifically Scarborough) and I'm excited to hopefully get involved here. I'm very new to urbex but I've always found it interesting, so hopefully I'll be able to start participating and getting to know people once the second wave blows over here. I hope you're having a good day if you're reading this, and I can't wait to get to know people here!

Hey. I moved from east coast to the Denver area a few years ago, looking to get into exploring around here. I was surprised to still find this site exactly as I remember it, when I found it way back when I was a kid trying to visit all the sites in the Weird NJ books that I could find (which admittedly was very few). I rediscovered the hobby recently and want to get back into it. Looking forward to being apart of the community here

Hello, I'm Machete Storm from SouthEast Idaho. I am just starting UERing. I'm 41 and not sure where to go looking. I have some Ideas, but I just don't know of any cool places to go UERing. Are there anyone in the SouthEast part of Idaho that I can meet up with so that we can go explore? I'm hoping to go on some adventures really soon. If you know of any cool spots here where I live please let me know so I can go check them out!! Thank you, Machete Storm
You must lose yourself before you can find yourself. |

Greetings, Hello fellow explorationors. I have been exploring for many years now and have been slowly training to become worthy for this iconic and legendary UER platform. I can't wait to be able to connect with so many of you and share my work. You are my heros. Have a blessed day, Cuckbride

Hi all, New member here but been doing urbex before it was even called urbex if that tells you anything. I live in the Western PA area of the U.S. and I use professional DSLRs, Drones, and go pro. I don't have a Youtube channel or anything like that but love watching other's content. Working on a website but at the moment, my instagram account is TB_Imagery and I tag all my urbex pictures with /tags/tb_urbex_/ Nice to be aboard. Image here is me taken at Yellow Dog Village in PA.

Hello Everyone! I am a huge noob when it comes to Urbex, and am SO excited to be a part of this community. I have gone draining 3-4x, and have done some exploring in some old run down buildings near where I live. I am an avid hiker, mountain biker, backpacker, and general outdoorsy person! I have summited 15 of Colorado's '14ers' at least once, and I have completed 12 extensive winter climbs or backpacking trips. I LOVE the adventure that comes with exploring new territory, as well as the risk that comes with it. I am so excited to bring my search for adventure to a more urban setting! Outside of my exploration 'resume', I am a 21 year old EMT student residing in southern Colorado at the moment, and I am hoping to graduate in 2022 with a degree in Fire Science in addition to my EMT certification I hope to finish this next spring. I am pretty much a walking, talking Colorado stereotype, and I'm really looking forward to meeting you all!

Uh, hi, my name's Blake and I'm 19 I am extremely into street and urban photography and exploration. I just moved to a small town in North Carolina from Atlanta so my urban exploration has decreased as I don't know what's around nor do I have a big city to explore. I joined this in hopes to make friends and to learn what's around me to explore and capture before it becomes history. The lack of friends and knowledge of cool things around along with quarantine has me quite bored so I'd love to become more active on here and hopefully become a full member in time. Yeah, I'm bad at introductions.

Hello! I am jdwg, and I've explored some places in the Bay Area, including the Sutro Baths and the Military Forts by the Golden Gate Bridge. I am looking forward to meeting the community and glad to explore the unknown! I really enjoy hiking and exploring places, and hate being inside. I've always wanted to explore an abandoned warehouse or building that has never been found before! Thanks, Jdwg

Hey everyone, I'm a 25 year old guy from Long Island and I have been urban exploring on and off for a number of years. I never really had the time to do it consistently, but now I do. I'm an art student who studies printmaking techniques, and does 35mm photography for fun. I actually have a bunch of photos from a few years ago of my exploration and will most likely post them on this sight. Anyway glad to be a member of the community.

Hello! I've been interested in urban exploration for years, but aside from a couple of very tentative trips, haven't (until now) really gotten into it. I am a photography and birding enthusiast, and most of my 'nice' pictures up to now have been of birds and wildlife; urban exploration appeals to me because I have a shortage of adventure, and I'd love to find some cool new places. A friend and I went for our first proper expedition yesterday, and found some really cool stuff. Now I can't wait for the next one! Looking forward to learning the ropes and seeing all of your cool finds! This image is from yesterday's trip:

Hi all, I'm a pretty low key explorer, not exploring too many sites, only a couple of sites every year. I live in the PA area, but take a lot of trips up north for work.
