one of my employees has one of these, pushing 350,000 km and all hes done is brakes, tires and DPF delete. solid truck unlike those lousy fords

Funny story about the Fords. One of our fellow racers got himself a newer Super Duty....it caught fire. That was back at the beginning of November. The dealer still has it. I would be demanding a brand new (not Ford) truck.

It's a 2020 with 35,000kms on it and every available option. Never owned a Mercedes before and I'm really hoping this thing turns out to be reliable. I'd just paid off the Subaru back in August and should have enjoyed some more time without a car payment, but where's the fun in that? Any of you experts have any suggestions of things I should watch out for with these?

the OEM wheels are made of BUTTER, any hole will decimate them especially if you have run flats

Other then thermostat issues and rear air suspension leaks they seem to be pretty solid

does nothing for me...

as of late, Honda and BMW should just fire their styling department and then put a contract out on their lives so they can't inflict harm anywhere else.

And yes, I know the original Integra could be had as a 5-door... I didn't like them either.

Could say the same about the current design language from General Motors. Especially their trucks/SUV's.

Actually I thought about it further and for less than Integra money I'd rather have the GR Corolla.

not a GM fan as of late... they make nothing i want
As for Toyota, no no no... I would much prefer the GR Yaris to anything out there. It ticks all the boxes for me- small, quick, powerful, 3 door, fun to drive, turbocharged and AWD

and do you think Toyota will sell it here? NO. We get the fucking Corolla. Yawn.

I think the only affordable new cars I actually like the styling of are the Miata, the GT86/BRZ and the Ranger. Everything else is hideous.

I don't even have anything nice to say about VW. They have a bunch of soulless, crap SUVs, the Jetta is the size of a Crown Vic and the GTI is the ugliest car they've made since the 411.

Moving under its own power for the first time since the '70s. I pride myself on my classic VW resurrection skills but honestly have less than an hour invested in the engine of this thing. It just purrs, even idles (and I haven't done anything to a the carb.) and starts up nicely.

Surely, the Euro-411 is OK?

I want one; in white, lowered, Fuch alloys, black over-fenders, 2.7L 911 engine...
B32s can try all they like, but that would be cool?

thought about trading the Sonic in the past few weeks as we cruise in the 80,000 mile range... a couple of my friends have Mazda's and they have had no problems with one. So I call a Mazda dealer and ask about a Mazda 3 sedan or hatch... guy was enthusiastic and said he had a couple in stock... and then i stopped him and told him I required a manual shift.

you would've thought I had started muttering satanic incantations over the phone... he immediately went into Lumberg mode... "well, ah, you see, we don't really stock manual transmissions..."

and just like that, the call was over. So, i guess, to keep a manual transmission, I am going to have my chronic Sonic until I die.

Well... actually I like the 411. It's ugly, but in a charming, endearing way. The Mk8 looks like someone asked an AI program to draw a Mazda 3.

And I love your vision, but might as well just go with the 3.0, it uses the same amount of real estate.

And the Mk7.5 GLI looks like a Dyson product from the front.

VW is totally dead to me.

There's a reason that when my first TDI wagon broke, I went out and bought the exact same year etc, and not something modern. I specifically searched for the 2003 wagon in 2017. And if I could've found another one that didn't need more love than I had time to give I would've gotten a third. (chasing down wiring problems between the ECU and DFI got really annoying and I can't afford to get stranded over and over in NWO without cell service...) Still hoping I find one someday.

I like it, but I wish they put some other inline 4 or 3 cylinder in it.
