My little mule, urban exploration / recreation vehicle.

Great mileage, 4x4, goes almost anywhere, Aircond, sleeps 2 nicley, 4 if they're freindly, clothes, tools, magazines, crapper, stove, surfboards, wetsuits.

Not so hot on long desert uphills, or windy highways.

Other than that, she's the best little exploration vehicle I've ever had.......

She was camera shy at the time. Eventually I sold her to a guy who used her in a demolition derby.

That sucks!!!!!!

That looks like a shot from an Audi brochure or an episode of TopGear. LOVE IT.

Ha! Perhaps!

Sort of on topic (but pity it isn't on film); I had a professional with me a few months ago and asked him to snap some off as I did a few fast passes in an abandoned car park. All it needs is some post-camera work to make the brake-disks glow... Does that count? Neko.

My "normal" engine swap record was on a Forester. Had two, one with a good engine that had been rear ended, and one with a blown engine/good body.

Had the engines out of both cars, swapped over the flywheel to one for a manual tranny and had it installed in the good car, and started while it was still warm... total time was an hour and 17 minutes.

(And the "not normal", I swapped engines in my '74 Beetle in 21 minutes.)

I removed the engine from my '62 Baja Bug in 7 minutes..................
Of course it took two years to put it back in.

Not bad at all. I bought my forester after it had been in a front end collision, with deployed airbags and a bent frame. So I had to pull the engine to weld on the new front clip at the strut towers. And as long as I had it out I did all the gaskets from the heads up on it and a new clutch. Now finally it's to the point where you can't tell anymore.

GOOD CALL... they like to leak. And they're a pain to do with the engine in the car.
