very nice. was this about 8 minutes?

It's actually four minutes I believe. I took one that was eight, but this one came out better.

Edit: I checked the EXIF. It's actually 5 minutes.

Do you have any problems with hot and dead pixels at those times? My Rebel is starting to develop some at longer exposure times.

Nutria?

yeah, theres a slab of cement on the side of the river that was put there to stop the dirt from eroding away, but it did anyway. if you swim down about 4 feet underwater you can get in there, but i just stuck my lens in a crack in the concrete to get this shot. its a 30 second exposure.

I'm usually fine if I have the long exposure noise reduction on. For the posted shot I didn't, nor did I on the eight minute exposure (which I've posted below). I do start to get some noise and sensor glow on the longer times which is very obvious in the below shot.

"Downtown" Trinidad, Tx at 2 A.M. The first picture was taken right beside a 4 way stop with all sorts of crazy ambient lighting, so I added a little bit of my own.

Haven't posted anything here in a while. This is an outtake from my 2007 trip to the Bay Area.

Old general store/bank in Neches, Tx. While I was taking pictures of this place, some old guy in a 70's model truck pulled in beside me, lit up a cigar, and watched me for 20 minutes.

this was an old air force base recreation area, as what i was told. it's outside of bastrop tx, off of 95. not the greatest urban exploration find, but it's a pretty cool pool to skate which people added hips and walls. i also walked around and found a few random things to photograph.

Kinda put a damper on the interior urbex plans when you have an audience, eh?

Nice find & shot by the way!

Those are great shots Barry! The size comparison of the clouds to the skyline is pretty amazing.
