Here it is: http://chromebags....ucts/bags/show/14/ Have bus tickets, ipod, camera, videocamera, beanbag for support, keys, phone, book, and some other stuff.

Is my bag good enough for it? Should I just bring my photo bag?

Dont forget your official UER swag bag.

Sorry I couldnt resist. But in all seriousness all the threads you have posted are things you could figure out on your own. There is not a manual that governs what you can and can not do, take, weither to use a filter, or any thing else along those lines. Go have fun and post some photos.

anything thats waterproof is good enough. Hell, just use a plastic bad from the Food store and you will be fine.

If you're a drainer anything but a Black Diamond Sidewinder backpack makes you a n00b. Topside, I suggest plastic shopping bags for mad street cred.

Does this question really matter....does it work for you? If recycled liquor store bags work for you, there is no reason to ask this question.

Chrome bags are awesome. I tried one on a while ago...very comfortable, but not something you really want to bang around/rip/shred in an abandonment....

TO answer your question: Yes and No.

I own a Chrome Metropolis and use it regularly to explore most structures and a local subway.

The pro's:
>Strong
>Comfortable
>Water-resistant
>Virtually indestructible

The con's:
>EXPENSIVE $90 and UP (I spent $130!)
>Reflective stripe makes it easily seen at night
>Feels akward fully-loaded

My verdict:
Buy one if you use it for stuff other than UE. If you ride your bike a lot like I do, it works great for both worlds. If you are going to use it JUST for UE, go with the $30 rule. Nothing over $30.

Hope that helps,
Ted

I have the bag, and I use it for biking, and school and stuff. I was asking because I had only used my Loepro photo backpack for ue, and I was wondering if this was good. I ride my bike a ton. RohesterUE, would this bag rip in a abandoned place?

I don't like Lowepro bags just because they look like camera bags, that and I haven't found them comfortable.

My favorite is STILL a waterproof duffel bag and some rope. I also have a jacket with a lot of pockets, and never plan on staying for food.

The bag could rip anywhere if you aren't careful, in an abandonment or otherwise.

What I have found is that if you have a big bag, you will try to fill it with stuff, most of the time stuff you don't need. Yes, it might come in handy but chances are it won't and if it isn't vital to your life then you don't need it.

Big bags get snagged on stuff. Go through a hole or a broken window and you can get stuck unless you spend vital time (what if you are being chased?) taking the bag off, forcing that through the gap and then going through yourself. For those small holes and gaps you want to go down to see what is down there, having a big bag with you can make you think twice and decide not to do it as you don't want to leave a big bag lying around for any Tom, Dick or Harry to come along and nick.

I've never used one of these bags, nor seen one so I am going to ask you, how is it for running and climbing? Will it stay in place? will in unbalance you?

What is it like to get stuff in and out of? Are there several pockets or just one big bit to dump everything in? Do you trust everything to remain in there when climbing, running, twisting, hanging upside down and all that other stuff you might find yourself doing exploring? Losing your phone, your wallet or your car keys in a massive industrial site or hospital is not fun.

Will it offer the right amount of protection to the stuff you carry in it? If you have a camera in there, do you feel it is safe from bumps and knocks?

The bag is very well balanced. It has one pocket and a 2000cubic inch rainstorm proof main compartment. Easy to get things out. Not padded at all. Stuff wont fall out. I will use my lowepro, but i dont have space for my video camera. I am writing this from a psp Also it feels more comfortable almost full.
