Your bag should be fine for UE, just go out and do it. I personally use my North Face backpack (in case anyone gives a rats ass), it's expensive ($70 on clearance), but it's waterproof, durable, and above all comfortable. I however, have accepted that it will get ripped, trashed, and wet. On a completely different notes I've read a number of your threads, and I have this to say your first UE is a lot like sex, you spend so much time thinking about it and it's over waaay to quick. I recommend, doing your research, then shutting off your laptop, desktop, or blackberry, putting two feet under you, grabbing your friend, and getting on with it! Your gear will get dirty, but it beats the shit of trying to live as a "UE'r" through others on the internet.. right?

Sorry, for the rant, I just woke up for no reason, and needed to release some opinions....
