I wear the stuff at work, and I can tell you that along with all the other gear on my belt, it's no picnic. I can only think of one or two places I MIGHT wear it. It's the one piece of gear I don't want to wear any longer than I have to.

I dont find it all the comfy. Its heavy, its hot, its stiff. Why dont I loan ya my body armour, tac vest, and Kevlar helmet. We'll fill the tac vest up too. Then well snap the ballistic eye wear on.

Just watch where your going. Unless you plan on exploring in a war zone/UXO site/somewhere else with flying bullets and fragments, you dont need ballistic armour.

I would just wear a leather jacket or biker suit. No, not a biker suit for biking, but a biker suit for motorcycle biking. Of course I usually just wear a t-shirt and have a hoodie for "protection"

I make love the same way I resolve arguments. With my fists.

Lose the armour, next time don't be falling through the floor. Watch your step..
I've never fallen through the floor, ever. You can get a pretty good idea if the floor is going to give by looking at it alone.

I see bad things happening when you're wearing a vest of some sort, and you're found by the police. Illegal.

I can see how even the slightest detail out of the ordinary will raise a red flag, but body armor is illegal? I wonder where the distinction between body armor and fashion lies. Theoretically, leather jackets and life jackets could fit in that category.

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom.

You can get kevlar lined hoodies.

If you are exploring abandoned golf courses, only dragonskin will protect you. Maybe Norton too.

Kevlar-lined hoodies?!?!?!

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop...

Hell yes I wear body armour to protect my body. It's not my fault though. It was my girl friends idea. She insists I wear 'ribbed for pleasure when she gets rough.

For UE though? Will that fit in my back pack? Is my back pack good enough for UE?

Caution! This user is a wise ass and may use sarcasm.

Okay I grew up on a farm, and have some experience killing ground hogs..... with a .22.

But please can you answer me this simple question.
HOW THE FUCK DOES ONE FUCKING USE A SMOKE BOMB TO KILL A GROUND HOG??!?!?!

Unless its mustard gas... or VX Nerve gas... Prussian Blue or something Bush would invade a country for I thing Mr. Hog would just kinda run away from it.

Enlighten me oh wise smoke bomb throwing, body armour wearing master.

What happens if the ground hog takes the body armor and smoke bombs away from someone? That would be a worse case scenario!

been thinking about it.
maybe something more subtle like this

I'm a fan of black/red, it looks cool, might have some practicality.

product: Demon Snow International Flexforce High SnowBoard Armor.
"
* Fabric Content: 70% moisture wicking polyester, 30% cotton
* Shock-absorbing rib protection
* Base memory foam protection for shoulders, spine, elbow
* Removable polyethylene hard shell for shoulder, spine, elbow
* Adjustable torso straps
* Dual front pockets
* Draw-tight waist system
"
so it's like "armored" UnderArmor
Plus it matches my respirator too, lol.

Body armor isn't going to save you from breaking your legs or your back or your head. If you're falling through floors your only problem is that you're not being careful enough.

My thoughts exactly

Personally I dont think I would. However, here is a picture of my friend with the armor he wore one time.

Yes, its a Police issue level IIA ballistic vest.
