You can read into it any thing you like.

I see that either:
1: The police are keeping a sharp eye on it or
2: Someone else is and reported it, giving rise to police involvement.

If either is true and one goes out to explore it, should the coppers show up, it's not like a warning wasn't posted.

It was meant for those considering exploring it to consider that the possibility of police attention might be greater now, that's all. I hate to see explorers having to pay fines, get arrested and have records.

What is wrong with having a discussion on a forum? I just dont get it! you guys act like the fbi, cia, nsa, and the Men In Black are going to storm through your door if you even discuss anything about it.

Ok, so I was able to gain access to the SSC tunnels. The pictures are a little grainy, it was very dark in there. The tunnel did have some water in it, but luckily the previous visitor left a boat. I hope you all enjoy the photos...

well I was looking at the satellite pics of the second smaller known site. The one long building with one part of the tunnel behind it. Well in the sat pic you can see a small concrete building on the side by the dirt mound covering part of the tunnel. well theres a huge concrete lid. like 10 ft x 10 ft , a large vent fan. and on the other side of the concrete thang a door. The handle was broke off. but the deadbolt was unlocked and all that it needed was a little poke to open. well stairs go down 2 flights before its full of water.

I think I need to talk the land owner into giving me permission to explore. sign a waver whatever is necessary. I think this is one entrance to the smallest ring. Im hoping i can get it pumped out. theres a drainage canal a hundred feet away.

Ok guys...the sites I knew of are now under houses. However, my friend managed to get me a map of the entire tunnel system throughout the county. He has been told by his parents who used to work as scientists on the project that the tunnels are more extensive than we've been led to believe. Now all that remains is wasting gas to search the tunnel path for entrances that are still left.

Hey hardcore ... this reminded me of a map I had come across a while back, Im not even sure where to be honest cause I havent been able to find it again. I finally found the thing. The quality is for crap so I decided I'd do some playing around with it. This is a composite of that map which showed the ring , the other one showing all the access points that I posted before and and overlay of a map I cut and pasted to it.

I actually agree with your friends parents, if you read through all the stuff on the construction progress reports it seems they made more progress than what has been reported, but who knows. I also personally am not totally convinced that all the sections are full of water, yea, they all probably have water in them but who knows how much.

Ok here is my suggestion to all, generic, lonestar, longhorn, mayhem, 2x, et al ... we have all given each other alot of crap back n forth, but lets face it, this is one of our holy grails for this area. Everyone come to the meet next saturday and bring what ya got, maps, photos, recon info whatever, and let's see what we can piece together ... together. Everyone can get a little nervous online, this way we'd actually be in person and would be cool to meet some of the toher people on here!
