Ok guys...the sites I knew of are now under houses. However, my friend managed to get me a map of the entire tunnel system throughout the county. He has been told by his parents who used to work as scientists on the project that the tunnels are more extensive than we've been led to believe. Now all that remains is wasting gas to search the tunnel path for entrances that are still left.

I am the shadow at your side......

Ok, I did see a little marker like that (with the v). But it was smaller and lower to the ground than the one in this picture and it looked older. It was also overgrown with nature around it. Maybe this picture was taken when the supercollider was under construction. When I saw that little sign I didnt think it was of any importance because I didnt know what it meant and I just felt like I have seen other similar signs along the roadside in many other places throughout Texas. Thus, I disregarded it and drove around a little more until I found that water station nearby. Well, do you have any info about the latitude and longitude I sent you? What is there? You seem to be short on words lately. Or perhaps you only speak up when you feel like you can step on or demean a person you think is somehow smaller than you.

I may be wrong, but I think I heard these signs are put in areas where either water, electrical, or communication lines change in the depth at which they are buried. The "V", stands for "Vicissitude" or "Variance".

Then again, it could just be the top of an arrow pointing down...

Like I said before try doing a little research. You offered your "services" to help us all, well go explore something. Let us know what you find.

You may be right because after I saw the one in this picture off of Arrowhead road this morning I saw several others along the way to Maypearl. Some of which are well beyond where 1446 ends and probably have nothing to do with the supercollider or it's tunnel. They all looked the same (red with a v).

I did explore and I found something at the coordinates I provided, which for some reason you refuse to respond to. I am not sure if what is there is already well known by you folks at UE. It is well away from the main supercollider campus and off the beaten path. I got the impression that the folks from the SUV website didnt know about it (which eventually helped lead me here having this discussion with you). Thus, some of you may not know about it as well. Something very interesting and important is there. I ask again, do you know about it? Do you know what it is? I would take pictures for you but I do not have a digital camera nor a scanner. I may have to get one soon if I am going to keep messing around here with you clowns (I dont really know how to make those little smiling winking faces that indicate a joke has been told. Someone will have to help me by telling me which buttons to use for that).

I didnt respond because its pretty obvious youre lost

the coordinates you sent (32N x 96W) to me in that PM is an intersection of a parallel and a meridian that happens way the Hell over in Navarro county somewhere

I dont owe you any explanation and Im not really all that interested in communicating with you in the first place so good luck on whatever it is youre trying to do

yeah what exactly are you trying to do? i mean you want info about the SCC but you dont wanna go in the building or do anything but drive around it. you said "
basically want to see any pictures of the place that I can come across because I am very curious about the current condition of the facility"
and
"Im not sure that I am willing to enter any building at this point, but I will gladly drive by something ".
. So my question is: what exactly is your interest in the current condition of the building if you dont want to enter it? also what is your interest in the tunnel because you are obviously not an explorer,

Well well well. Maybe your not quite the exploring guru we all thought you were. Im not sure how you ended up in Navarro County. I think we are using different map programs. Use this one (dont worry, I wont belittle you about expending energy using your mouse hand to search for a map on google on your own. I dont want to stoop to that level even though I could with this opportunity)
http://www.satsig....at-long-finder.htm again the coordinates are
latitude 32 degrees, 19.5 minutes North, longitude 96 degrees, 55.7 minutes West. Simply zoom in on that map until it centers in on the coordinates given. When you find it let me know. What is that place? Im sure some of you UE experts know about it. Dont get schooled by a rookie here. Come on now. Moreover, I dont have any hard feelings here. I just want us to respect one another and have friendly discussions about the SSC (and maybe get lucky enough to see some pics). You sure have corresponded on here quite a bit for someone who isnt interested in communicating. I am not trying to be a smart ass. But come on, this is a very interesting subject. Cant we all just get along.

No I am not an explorer. As I have stated, this is all new to me. I recently stumbled into the SSC and UE about a month ago. I am, however, interested in learning more or perhaps getting into exploring, which is why I am here on this website. I originally came on this site hoping I could just see pictures. But, sadly, you all are way too paranoid and selfish for that. No, I am not willing to enter a building or anything besides drive by something YET because I still dont know much about this or the risk involved. I am trying to learn more, but many of you cant stop acting like a bunch of jackasses by either playing around or trying to constantly make someone new to this stuff feel stupid.

ALL of us were new to this board at one time but some have distinguished themselves as being more stupid than others. They ususally do a good job of telling everyone they are stupid without anyone needing to point that out.

I tried to encourage you to read up, multiple times but you insist on somebody handfeeding you the info. If you follow my advice you would quickly identify the members that need watching as well as those you should not listen to. That is unless of course YOU really are stupid in which case maybe you should join forces with them and learn as much as you can.

Oh look heres a post with an answer for you from a another new member. Sounds like everyones been able to research this location on their own except big beevo!

I went by this location, we got inside, the owner of the property is using the first 20 feet for storage. and the rest is empty except for a big water cooler about every 10 feet up on the wall. What were they cooling with all this water? one of the big pipes on the wall was labeled "LCW" whats that mean? lake cold water? There were small tunnels on the left of the building every 20 feet or so going down at an angle. at the bottom of each was water. towards the end of the building the tunnels get bigger and bigger. At the very end there's a pit with an elevator that is full of water. there's stairs going down. Is that an entrance to the tunnels? I don't get how you could fill all of the tunnel with water. that's a lot of water.

who had a map of all the different buildings? pm me!

Aww man ya locked the other thread when it was just gettin fun!

I was looking at this normal big map i have of ellis county. And i saw something in little bitty print scs 56 RIGHT EXACTLY where n15 is located. And as it turns out i found 15 other locations that were marked on the map with scs and 2-3 digit numbers. so um here i go back to ellis countys site to look at there satellite pics.

above pasted from generics post in the other thread.

generic, so when are you going to scan this map and post it up for us?
