Since I can't get off the couch today, how about something football related.

Let's go for the opposite. How about a welcome mat? Or any welcome sign.

Too much HDR but the man who lived here was stationed on Okinawa at the end of world war two as part of a Mitchel Bomber squadron.

A picture of pictures of exterior of planes is pushing it to be considered avionics.

Not sure if these qualifies, but here they are. I took them with a disposable camera while snorkeling in the Florida Keys about two months back. This happens to be the masts of a ship that ran aground on a reef and sank.

Get this: the ship was carrying a cargo of coffins when it sank. How's that for ironic?

I know neither are high quality, but I was being buffeted with waves as I was taking these. Sorry, best I got.

How about "trees in unexpected places?"

This building (whats left of it) in Pontotoc, TX was used as an emergency shelter during Indian attacks. There used to be a tunnel leading from the center of town to here where nothing but a couple of walls and a tree remain.
