Incredibly nasty stuff found left in a fridge at an abandonment...

I wish I had got a photo of the bags of liquefied meat found in a fridge in a house that had been empty for the best part of nine years.

Getting up here doesn't look that high but it was deceptive from the photo. Climbing up the big bit of fence resting against the wall was easy but then you had to shuffle along a little ledge one brick wide, negotiate two drain pipes, clamber on top of that wobbly air con unit held into the wall by two rusty brackets and then slide yourself feet-first through a barred window onto an old server cabinet. Getting out was...fun.

Even before you reached this point to get into this little bit you had to shuffle along a railing with a sheer twenty foot drop behind then climb over a hoarding fence placed over the railing to drop down into this bit.

A floor so rotten you couldn't cross it.

You know when there is plantlife actually sprouting out of a staircase it is probably best to leave it be.

Something Abandoned by the sea

I'm horrified by the way the highlights got blown to shit on this (and to give you some idea just how bad they are, I already turned them down as much as I could), but that giant patch of white is the portion of the Caribbean Sea surrounding Portsmouth, Dominica.

Show me a sunrise

Sunrise over the Swamp. The crane in the middle of the picture is actually part of an active movie set. We discovered it as we were exploring and ended up being chased out of the park as a result.
