My dad drove one of those in that colour. “Unsafe at Any Speed”!

Recently had one try to kill me while it wasn't even running. I get it now.

Honestly, nothing if I can avoid it. I prefer to walk or bike if the location is close enough. I find that a smaller vehicle (or lack thereof) makes it a lot easier to keep a low profile while exploring. When I have to take my car to reach further spots, I park a mile or so away and walk from there. I generally try not to bring anything with me into the actual location that I can’t fit in my backpack.

If there is inconspicuous parking available I like to drive my 1994 chevy blazer. Its got plenty of room for people, gear and you can even fold the seats down and sleep in it. IMG_3413 by SN95cowboy, on Flickr

Jeez; Steed, Tupsumato, Samurai, Bandi, getting on 20 years. There's a thread somewhere on long-term members? Lucky I joined when I was under 20 years old... I had to check, but I first went to the Matsuo sulfur mine over ten years ago, and on a recent trip, had to go back for a look.
Hopefully something will resize images... I think I posted it previously, but here's https://rennlist.c...in-a-cayman-s.html my latest automotive log, and for completeness, the one before https://honda-tech...9218/#post47562180.

You just made me do math! I guess I was 21.
Hopefully something will resize images...

Yeah I can't figure out how to do this any more. Probably because I joined this site 19 years ago. *edit: also, the Cayman is beautiful as always. That looks like an amazing location.

in the words of Jerry Garcia, what a long strange trip it's been. Still miss that Honda you had... loved it. Anyways, good to hear from you as always.

Thanks team. The location is in the DB, with pics and story from the time. I miss the S800 too! Not least the noise at 10,000 rpm... Even my Carrera 4 driving friend commented similarly the other day. The Cayman is nice, but it lacks style...

When I'm not biking I drive a 2006 Kia Sorento.

My own two feet > mountain bike > Subaru I have the Subie set up for car camping, so it's perfect for road trips etc. without looking like a tourist or anything. Surprisingly capable off-road, too.
