Indeed. It was an enjoyable 'trip'. Of course I had to Shapeshift™ into a 59 year old reedy hippy, and sell my hand carved and dipped multi purpose paraphernalia at the weekend market. All while trying not to get pissed off at the Yuppies in their Lexuses, (Lexi?) when handed AMex gold cards for my 3 dollar beeswax candles. Srysly though; SSI Girl knows the island, (understatement) and we had a great tour and explore.

Cheers. Btw, I put in a good word for you (2 actually) 'He's cool' with SSI Girl. She (for some reason) was seeking reassurance...

Well, I'm still on Saltspring, I'll be here for a couple more days, then to Vic around Wed or so. Sorry SSIgirl, I don't think I'll be here come Sunday. I was on Mt Bruce the last couple nights, and set up many an antenna...only to tear it all down in seconds when the lightning started to hit the radio towers only a few hundred feet away. Scary indeed! PM me if anyone would like to visit or explore, i have caving gear, and exploration gear ready to go!! Too bad draining season isn't here yet.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

You guys are hilarious. Would someone just come over here and explore with me, I'm starting to think about building a raft to get out of here. Don't worry about the hippies, after 30 years I've learned to speak their language, or just throw granola over your shoulder as you run away.... by the way A. Lien I was asking for references because I'm single and live on a small island... never know what weirdo's might come over this way, axe murderers is so last year.

Lol Flattery will get you everywhere I'm not a real cop, I just play one on TV... Might be over next week SSI Girl, will ditch the Hummer and black suit this time, a bit conspicuous for the island.

"What's the red stuff in the last pic????" Not sure, didn't see that till I downloaded the pic. It's a long narrow passage with no lights - pitch dark, didn't notice it with the flashlight.

Looks like an old under the sidewalk areaway.

Without going into detail - I'd definitely say it's not a sidewalk areaway, nor would I rate it as the long lost tunnels of Vic. However I will say that this area will significantly help resolve one of the many "rumors" of places that have been discussed on this site. But speaking of sidewalk areaway's here is a pic of another spot that I just started to investigate. The room is about 4x5 and is located under the sidewalk. I've been told that behind the plywood is a passage. I'm guessing that it will turnout to be one of these areaway's. The interesting part is nowhere near any of the sidewalk glass prism parts of town. Could be a bit before I have to time to investigate this one - but looking forward to it. Question-do any of the rental shops in town rent any kind of endoscopes (for checking perhaps-pluming behind walls)¿¿.

Seems pretty clear to me, someone finally found the remains of "Jesus" who disappeared after proclaiming he'd "get the the bottom of this thread, and to the bottom of this city". http://www.uer.ca/...&group=1&display=1
It requires wisdom to understand wisdom: the music is nothing if the audience is deaf. |

I never thought of the elevator. It’s definitely under the sidewalk so maybe it was one of those old loading bays. However, when checking the sidewalk above there is what appears to be evidence of something running the length of the block. I live downtown and it has took me three years (without trying to seem obvious) to find out if there is anything in the basement, then to see it and finally be able to explore this room. It’s amazing what a bottle for bribery will get you. I’ve kind of been given the o.k. to pock a little hole-however I’m hoping to convince them to be able to remove some boards.
