His car rolled down a hill once and crashed into me at 2:00 am once. The look on his face was priceless. I think he was afraid of me giving more legal shit to deal with cuz he let me off with a warning despite the fact he had every reason to write a citation.
I got the cops in the palm of my hands and no one can stop me! mwahahaha

I heard a friend say my name outside of the building we had been checking out, so I walked out the front door with my tripod in hand, uncollapsed (at the time I was fairly new to this whole thing, so I had no real concept of being sneaky yet). I then walked down a big curling flight of stairs while being stared down by the police officer she had been trying to tell me had arrived. worst walk of shame ever. there were 5 of us, all ladies, and he was a young cop, so we of course started to flirt shamelessly laying the phoney "we're just girls, we don't know any better," charm on thick. within a minute he was flirting back like we had all met at a bar on a friday night. We stayed and talked with him for another 15 minutes or so, then said we had to be on our way. He just let us leave, no questions asked. By the next morning all five of us were friends with the man sent to arrest us for trespassing on Myspace.

BAHahaha.
The most for me was when we were just finishing touring a farm and a car pulled up. The old man was looking away from us and his wife was honking the horn wildly at him to signal him to turn around. I just shouted and told him "We're over here". He told us it was private property, and when we told him we weren't druggies, he ended up giving us a little history on the place.

| | | | The worst thing that has happened to me was I was exploring an old hotel here in Toronto, 6 floors the demo crew had left for the day. We scouted to see if a security guard had come on duty and did not see one. We entered the location through an open door that the demo crew left open and we walked around all 6 floors, as we looked out the window of the 6th floor of the hotel we saw security group 4 pull in and we ran out the door we came in. We got caught by the security doing his patrol's around the old part of the place and he asked us what we were doing on the private property and we said just taking pictures sir and he was like your not suppose to be on this property and let us go with no tickets or anything. The next week the hotel part of the place was demolished, so I'm glad I got to shoot the place!

"no now leave or im going to call the cops" ftw?! we didnt even say anything bad. so we infiltrated his place 2 weeks ago. way worth it. the douche dosnt even go over to the abandoned part. its completely locked away and has nothing of any real value. so i feel like leaving him a letter on his door that we infiltated his place. but make it untracable. whatta doosh

I fell over and/or walked through a cactus at the abandoned zoo nearby. I didn't notice it at first, since I was wearing jeans, but then we went wandering downtown. For several miles.

| | | | I wasn't really urban exploring but tonight I was taking photo's at a train station at night while some friends of mine were screwing around somewhere in the parking lot.
A cop pulled up and asked what I was doing and I told him I was just taking photo's of the construction saw horses. He asked if I was with the stupid kids in the lot and after I told him I wasn't and didn't know what they were doing (all the truth) he let me go while they got a stern talking to.

When I was like 18, I'd be more carefree, b/c it's a rush to sneek in, but I can't loose my job b/c of being arresting by my desire to take pictures.

Haha that sucks! It took weeks for me to finally get all those little bastards out. Became a real pain in the ass when we started finding them in the bed

I was checking out an area (Lakeshore/Pleasant Valley in Austin), because I'm always scouting out places, looking for promising buildings and the like.
I was looking at street signs for reference points while approaching a light, and WHAM. Rear-ended the guy at the light. (Which, in my defense, was green, but he was not moving.)
So, yeah. UE and driver error put my car out of commission for over a month.
