I never heard of this, and never found any such plans throughout the house... Hours have been spent exploring 
That's interesting though. I thought it was maybe a medical house at one point, due to all the medical supplies and mass amounts of public-like washrooms and what not, this idea only to be made more true to me by the fact that nearly everyone in the family were doctors. Eh, that's just my guess though.
I do know, however, that this place was called "The Round Room". Found that out from old newspaper clippings I found within the house. They used to host banquets and wine and cheese parties and such. Still wondering why they have like 10 horse-drawn carriages...
Did your friend tell you the family's last name was Gow? That's the only family I know of, and their extended family has a website which I can't remember anymore... But they're extremely wealthy and apparently descendants of royalty in Germany. Man, I wish I knew more about the actual plans and what this place used to be. D:

Wow,that is so weird...the house, the layout, the bizarre stuff that is left. I am soooooo curious. I must be a little weird though, too, because I've had occasional dreams all my life of slowly and thoroughly exploring houses like that. Someday I hope it happens in real life.

It's amazing to actually take hours and go back a few times to really get an indepth analysis of the place. There's so much hiding in every room and cupboard... There's even unopened chapstick in the bathroom from over ten years ago... Weird stuff.

You shouldn't have taken anything from there. i never take anything that is stealing. even if it is abandoned. I wonder why they left so much in there? creepy.

That's great, I'm sure other people would love to see what memories are left in that house. There must be some very old letters worth reading, to better understand the lives of those who once lived in the home.
It's not like you took them and ruined that experience for other explorers. Oh wait... you did.

However if you return them, other people could enjoy them as well. You've got them on your website, so there's no point keeping them.

I'm quite sure it will, but at least I got some information out of them.

Oh, and like was said above: If I return them it's not that big a deal. I have the scans done, there's no more use for them.

If I am back to the location in the near future (I probably will be), I will see about a contact number. One of my friends lives quite close by as well, so there's a chance that his family knows where to contact these people, or at least where they may have gone.

It's always been that way, we just kind of fixed it up in the pano involuntarily.
Cool that you got to visit, it's amazing inside.
The way in seems so hard, but we have a system now.
Did you explore the backyard? Lots of bathroom appliances and medical appliances. Very weird.

Gow is, I believe, the correct name of the family that was living there. That family is fairly well-established in Fergus, and there is a Gow Street in the town.

They even had their own pharmacy in town at one point. "Gow's Pharmacy".. Original name.
You can actually believe it even more when you go because there's pill bottles everywhere with their pharmacy name on it, and numerous pills in the fridge in the downstairs kitchen.
There are quite a few Gow's in the Bellsyde Cemetery by my home. So, the entire town has the Gow name about it.

Belsyde's a nice cemetery. Fergus is where I went to school and grew up (before I moved to Berlin). I still spend a lot of time around there, since my family lives just outside of town.
