Who wants to do a night time scouting mission at Domtar tonight? I was thinking around 9-10ish. The fine paper mill on the Hull side west of Eddy Street (Booth on the Quebec side) is my target. It's easy to get into property well away from the guard shack. My sources say that the mill is already closed as they have covered the smokestacks. This is the old stone building with the steel and chain link bracing along the side to keep the wall from crumbling onto the street.

I don't think he ended up going. weather was crap!
I would be up for an evening outing this week or next, during the week. its dark for photos, but Ill suck it up and bring my tripod.

Haloween night, me and a friend decided to check out the "ground contaminated" (luckily not sick yet) Lebreton Flat Tunnels, pretty cool for my first tunnel exploration.
Tried going to Domtar, Haloween was just to security measured, they covered the place pretty good, so we headed to the abandoned old mill restaurant.
Friday night was incredible though. I'm not sure, I kinda messed up but it might still be accesible, havent been nearby to check, but me and the same friend went to the Lynx Stadium since it has been recently abandoned and no more ottawa baseball team.
Went to a couple other places but none as cool as that, and tomorrow or by end of the week, me and same friend plan to go back out.
Will bring camera and post more pictures, on the lookout for more and more locations to help those like me who want to know first hand of such places.

Wanna arrange the O-Train Tunnel thing? I am considering Christmas day cause then we got day light and if we go early enough, people with familys won't be out cause their too busy opening presents. Even during the daytime the entrance to the O-Train Tunnel is hardly guarded by civilians.
One bad thing: Snow Prints will be left behind... maybe not a good idea unless there is no snow like last year.

That first one is a kickass shot... except for the cloning (or whatever) going on along the bottom edge.
