| | | Hello everyone! I'm Peter, but everyone call me raczek (read like racheck). I'm from Warsaw (Poland) and I've discovered this site about month ago. I'm 16 and I started exploring about year ago. I've explored only two buildings in Warsaw so far, but I'm still looking for new interesting and abandoned places. If anyone from abroad needs help or a guide in Warsaw I think I can help Just ask!

| | | Good Day to you Ladies and Gentlemen. I am Dr Rudy Jones, My location is Hayward California. By trade I am a artist/sheet metal worker. I'm also a student of medicine and anatomy as well as things of a mechanical and electronic nature. One of my goals is to try and document and explore all the subterranean bunkers and military facilities in the bay area and beyond. I love Art Deco and modern steel buildings. Utility rooms full of old machines.\ I'm also into aircraft and submarines.
This is in Marin. Hidden roadside bunker used for sheltering the Nike missile silo crews
I wish i was underground, that's where the love is. |

| | | Hello to all, I recently moved to Raleigh NC from Cincinnati OH. I have been exploring old factories, houses, and tunnels in cincy for about 10 years. One of the coolest places I have been in was the abandoned Cincinnati subway and the Mariemont central heating plant. I have not explored since I moved to Raleigh but would like to find someone who knows the area and could show me around. I am down with sketchy places and underground but I am not too keen on heights.

| | | Hello, everyone! I'm both thankful and somewhat flabbergasted to find a large UE resource such as this. I never knew there were so many people who had the same UE bug, it certainly puts a smile on my face. I'm in Long Beach, CA. And I hope to share some of the local stuff here with everyone, and document the fun explorations in my old hometown of Fremont. I'm always up for a cup of joe. Say hello 8)
Leaving it as I found it since 1987. |

| | | Hi all, I am a 22 year old female residing in upstate south carolina(spartanburg). I'm more of an outdoor explorer but I have this obsession for post apocalyptic themes and imagery and there are a handful of abandoned factories and nooks I'm dying to get snapshots of. I just haven't because I don't have anyone to do it with. I have a little Army experience so wearing a gasmask, getting dirty and worn out is no problem. If you are reading this and are in the upstate, hell even rest of the state, N.C, Georgia, or Tennessee, va, the whole southeast I guess then we should chat sometime because I have the time and money for up to a 4 days distance trips each week. I'll try to for the columbia meetup; sounds like fun. I read about the abandoned nuclear reactor in cherokee county and Heritage theme park in Fort Mill but was too late! By the time I found out about them they'd been demolished a year or two ago. I also like abandoned roads and am a HUGE route 66 fan and drove by it on I-40 as a kid. I plan on driving some of it this May. I also hear New Orleans is pretty tore up and the six flags theme park there us abandoned so I'd like to check that out one week... Became a member of UER last year but have only just started posting, looking forward to becoming a full member so I can start to post on the DB. How long does it normally take? Ive read the bit on how to become a full member, just wondering how many posts and how long it take to get there. Hope you enjoy my posts.

I've been interested in Urban Decay and Urban Exploring for about five or six years, but only recently have decided to make the jump from observer to partaker and photographer. I was excited to find this site and join up. Looking forward to whatever advantages FM has to offer, but I'm content to just read and post =) Always looking for a partner to roll with in Central Alabama.

| | | Hey guys, I can't begin to express my relief that after all these years, I'm not the only person who's walked by an abandoned house and had an uncontrollable urge to want to explore it! I'm currently in Pickering,ON, and I love Durham region. I plan to read as much info that I can from this site and learn as much as I possibly can from all of you explorers who have done something that I want to, when I can find time! I've had my eye on an old church in Ajax,ON that I might have access to so keep an eye out for that. So take care out there, and don't ever stop exploring!

| | | I love that there is such a great resource for UE. Unfortunately I live in Middle Tennessee which,if you don't know,is about the worst place in the US for UE. Although i am aware of a few areas that one could explore, however I don't like being shot at and thats what happens in my neck of the woods. Thus if you are a Middle Tennessean who knows of any areas that one could explore and, whose owners don't have itchy trigger finger I would like to know. Thanks -Tank
