Malt Plant construction?

I was planning a visit to the malt plant when I happened to find some workers on metal scaffolds cutting wood near the entrance.

Does anybody know what's going on there?

I happened to cross some girl who seem to be taking pictures. If you visit the board it'd be kind to post the pictures.

They were cutting wood, so either they were boarding up the place, or they were planning some other type of wood-oriented renovations.

the place is for sale so they are prolly securing it not to scare away potentiel buyers, plus, might just be a movie that will soon be shot, plus, might have finally been sold so new owner is taking possesion of it and want to keep you out...

I went today and talked to a group having their lunch....

So be all relieved ..it's a cinema crew.

They will be shooting for a week or so a movie called "La rage de l'ange" ou
"rage des anges" or something like that ,directed by singer Dan Bigras.

So I guess we'll be OK for a while : no demolition yet.

its like a rubber paint, they spread like 8 coats of it, then you can paint on top of it and then when theyre done, they just peel it off in huge chunks and it dosent leave any marks, pretty neat stuff the cinema has

Passed by many time last week and saturday 10pm we finally been able to sneak in....D-v-S cave-clan Nivelo and I ,under the nose of a very close guard and heavy spotlights.....

The big room under the hoppers (2nd floor) have been cleaned...there are structures to hold walls ( 2x4) that cuts the room in 2 .....plus a little room that hides the passage to the concrete building. They put windows also..

Some steps of the administrative building have been repaired...Here and there from top to bottom there is some plastic and plywood to prevent the rain and falling bricks from damaging the set.

The weirdest is in the basement....you end up in a huge now "spic and span clean" room (where you still can see the satanic graf...)There 's a stage,a purple old bath ,few spotlights and steps that lead to 2 different doors, one of them looks like a club metal door in witch they cut a star-like hole covered with plexi-glass ...

Those 2 doors (wide opened saturday !!!) lead directly in the court yard, where the "I hate this job" graf was.......wow......

Very weird.... inside, one moment we heard those incredible banging noises coming from above in the steeping tank room from concrete building....to find out that: no,it was not the S.W.A.T. team running the stairs but many racoons running in the ventilation ducts !!!!!
To top that, around 1 am,on one of the roofs we had a super show of northern lights !!!!
Who can ask for more ?

Hope they will get all the stuff out by today (monday) as it's supposed to be and that all the grass and small trees they had to cut all around will grow back soon......

That was my week-end report.......!!!!!! I'll keep you posted......

Not from the movie rooms, because we couldn't use a flash, the guard being very close to the windows or opened doors (and walking around. At one point there are two )....Even the little light of the camera or torch were to "eyes catching " (tricky a bit) maybe Nivelo has some as she has a very good camera...she also might have caught the northern lights....

UPDATE!!

me and Nel58 went today, they are filming a new movie, La pointe...a movie about pte. st charles (duh). some Doors hav been opened, new graffiti, and weird cleanliness and electricity in some parts of the building. They have completely screwed up the makeshift ladder, so no more way to go up .

Pictures go here.

New graff

Makeshift ladder, THe big weird thing was thrown from the top and breaking and loosening the rope, the middle ladder is holding by one single shoelace now.(hard to see. if anyone wants a bigger picture just drop me a pm)

Weird wall in the middle of nowhere, and where did all the mess go?

aah, there it went

Opened windows and doors

Anyone curious?
