La Rage de l'ange is the name of the movie. Produced by Dan Bigras. Should be out Spring 2006.

The movie that was shot right after is "La Pointe"...about La Pointe St-Charles...By whom I don't remember right now

The same guy who did most of the graffittis for La rage de l'Ange was also hired for "La Pointe"..TaP and I met him while he was covering the wall of his previous work to re-do another graffitti wall.....he was happy...he could take his time,he was paid and his work will be seen all around..cool for a very young guy !

there's always been a fence around Malt Plant, that's not new.

As for a city truck nearby, well, I've seen tons of cops cars and city trucks nearby...

I love the "falling objects" sign though.

-hummm WTF is that thing coming down on me???
-OH FUCK! IT'S A SILO!

LOL

but seriously, Nel must know... it's like she built the place!

she lives in the place.

she has wireless internet connection thanks to the houses nearby and she steals power from the industry next to the plant. Next time you are there, go down to the basement and say hi!

hi

i'm wondering the best way to get in, i heard that all of the doors on the bottom are wealded shut, and those stairs up the side look pretty sketchy, plus some of them are broken (i'll attach a picture of them).

also the place is right beside the entrance to an airport, and you say theres cop cars there all the time, just wondeirn if its worth it if i'm gonna get booked for tresspassing.

oh yea, and whys this in the quebec forum, when the place is in toronto?

Please anything but those stairs, they are falling apart not supporting their own weight.

Airport? cop car? look like both Toronto and Montreal Canada Malting plant share the same rotting but not the same security.

This thread is about the Malt Plant in Montreal.

LOL Yeah, I knew Stephen Harper would move Montreal to Toronto once he got elected... I KNEW IT!!! Does that mean that from now on, we'll get soldiers plowing the streets of Mtl everytime it snows??? :o)

Dear, this thread is about the Montreal Malt Plant... in Montreal.

Unless... Nel, did you move the silos??? Gees, you could have told us!

Wow. So that was all painted for the movie shoot?? Huuuge.

This place makes me swoon-- Despite my move down to St. Louis in June I'm really set on making a trip up there solely to see this place as well as meet a bunch of you fellow explorers around Montreal. If it wasn't for being on probation and in debt to my parents I'd be planning a trip for spring :[ I just hope she's still standing when I do have the opportunity to thoroughly explore! Take care!

Wow !
It looks like a Feydeau play !!!!! Ciel mon mari !!!Quel quiproquo !
Some fellows need to consult some threads and galleries from the top!
Homeworks young men and ladies !

It's becoming very funny.........

Malt plant Toronto.....Hard to get in.....forget those stairs they stop in the middle of the wall....Very cool inside......Super amazing roofs very small, where you have incredible views on Downtown and private airport and Lake Ontario...
(from the top roof we got the priviledge to witness a lovely couple that thought they were alone..down on the wharf !!!)
Great machineries left (that are missing here so you can complete the puzzle)The hole ground floor is still lighten ! Less graffittis,cleaner.....and there are remains of someone's house in there !
But.....

Montreal's one is older, funkier, more charming and it's totally derelictedelicious! No malt plant ,wherever it is, beats it !

Am I silo chauvinist ? YES!

Ok let me have my soup and I'll come back from my "beloved home" check up !

speaking of feydeau, at school we are going to present "le dindon", i'm going to be Victor, a servant. Plus I designed the stage layout and such .

Free tickets to all uer users that are interested ..well actually no, there's going to be too much urban explorers that are going to come to my school to explore instead of watching the play

Back from the check up,everything is alright....Hmmmm a good sniff from the office building and a more-than-better sniff from the spiral staircase...
(You can get addicted to that fragrance...believe me !)
So,no! I didn't move the silos!Maybe I'll bring them on tour one day...But promise to bring them back where they belong..

As mister (?) McTavish got mixed up with Toronto,it's a double relief that fences, signs, trucks and so on do not apply here (not yet...)!

Dans mon petit sac que je traîne toujours j'ai : ben des batteries, une lampe de poche, une caméra, une clé USB, un lecteur MP3 et un tournevis.

Faut toujours être prête, on sait jamais quand un building abandonné va apparaître :o)
