Nay, that's what happens when you're lane changed into the left-hand turn lane, and sigh, thinking you're safe... just before impacting the curb where the median starts up again.

$236 seems to be the median price for a new rim. *shakes fist in rage*

My old boss did the same thing in Vegas and jumped his brand new Pontiac grand Am over a 20 foot island breaking the oil pan in the process. We got fat air and it was actually pretty funny (but not for him).

Since we're on the subject of aircraft...

Nice shot, I need more wide angle from my lens, and less people jumping in my shots at the airshow lol.

Lil Bugsy took this one while I was deleting pics, I forgot the clear my memory card and filled it up in like 10 minutes lol.

Thanks. Do you have a camera capable of fitting a wide angle lens?. The Tokina 11-16 I bought is a little pricey but very nice and has minimal distortion and chromatic aberration in the edges.I highly recommend their lenses.

I had the same problem at this (mini) airshow. Lots of fat guys in crocs walking right in front of me....ugh.

Todays pic.

Dawn + neutral density filter + HDR + a lot of editing.

Siper wins!

CR, nice motorola you've got there. Reminds me of my XPR 6550 quite a bit, looks a bit older though. Love the winter topper for it.

My company stopped giving us water in our guard shacks on on the oilfields in Elk Hills last night. Said "it's not summer anymore". I imagine that the climate out there will know that it's "not summer" and will not get hot during the day anymore, right?

Pffft..

I was lookin' at Decrep's great mountain shot, then I scrolled to siper's sunset. Wow!

That motorola has been like a wart I can't get rid of for 9 years now. Prior to that I had an old brick, mil spec Nextel.

I do look very cool with my shades on, but they were for safety. This little guy had 5 razor blades at each corner, and he was not very careful with them.
