Just realized that you're an A Scanner Darkly fan...

Yes! its about damn time someone figured it out, as for the photo jumping on moving train can be dangerous.

Was walking around downtown long beach today and found this gem just a few blocks from where i live.

Is that wielded shut? Or just closed?
Last time I was there, it looked like they did a big clean up and removed a lot of the good stuff. I was starting to fear that they might seal the silo entrance too.

It's welded shut. I wish I could have seen this place in its better days. The worst part is, it's very close to my house.
I'm planning on creating a new thread with the pictures I took yesterday, so I'll explain its current state in more detail there.

There should be some of the other sites that still have open hatches. I have seen some on Google Earth that were wide open. However, that might have been a really old satellite photo.
