An old favorite that I wish I could re-take. I've been trying to find this spot again over the course of a dozen or more trips, but just can't find the right building!

i was lucky enough to head up to Crescent City with the California Coastal Commission this week past. after the meetings were finished there was a dinner to honor the life & work of the previous Executive Director & the passing of the torch to the next. we were served some extremely fresh salmon, caught that morning, by our wonderful hosts, the local Yurok Tribe, prepared in the traditional fashion.
i wish i could convey the level of awesomeness involved with this meal. as a pescetarianism/vegetarian it was unbelievably perfect, the taste, the smell, the people were all wonderful.

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Ever seen a tiny little hole, and you said to yourself, "Self, I just HAVE to get inside that" ??
