I'm often amazed what's hidden away on this island. Not super rare, but seems a damn good deal...

Pardon small image, won't load over 450 wide.

My sister lives in Hawaii; I helped her look at used cars at craigslist and I could not believe there was a bunch of cars almost years old and just rolling in 100,000 miles now for pretty cheap!

Hawaii is probably it's own little eco system for cool cars. Finding a mint collector in Arizona and bringing it to Hawaii would take some planning and expense. Seems odd but good if there are semi rare old cheap collectables there, especially with the salt air.

Agreed on the Trailer Queens. Imagine putting slimy oil into a perfectly clean oil pan. I don't mind seeing really rare cars in museums though, or 'static exhibits' if they can't afford to restore the mechanicals. At least Leno drives his cars.

Side note: I heard a guy is parting out Obama's old Grand Cherokee. Spark plugs are 50.00 or 200.00, something ridiculous. NPR story.

My sister is Charlotte Light and Dark. Who am I?

that car has been hillbilly-fied.
look at where the exhaust is coming out. Also, what does 'newer' 350 mean?
oh and we should take this guys' word that the frame is ok?
i might just go look at it because it is only $500.

Newer 350 makes me assume it's probably the tired old engine out of a 1982 Delta 88 or something. I'm also not inclined to believe anyone who thinks people will take an ad seriously with words like cuz. But for $500? maybe

the frames are so iffy in those cars. I had an 81 Regal and I was amazed that the frame was solid... twisted, but solid.

That Daytona will need a solenoid pack on the tranny if it's been sitting for more than half a year.

I love how people run car ads without including how many miles are on the clock.

The A-604 automatic that they mated to the 3.0 is absolute garbage. The A-543 manual that came with it was excellent though.

It's true. I had a lebaron that I sold. Person got it running, and the engine literally blew apart. There was a gaping hole where the number 4 combustion chamber was

I had a friend do that on a Tercel... the #4 rod went thru the block, and also took out a nicely sized section of the bellhousing from the tranny. That car wanted to die that day.
