I think sticksandstones has a great idea.

Since you proposed this, would you like to be the one to name the date, time and place? Vampireskiss335 and I will attend.

Might want to require people to PM you so they pass the "vetting" process.

Sound like a plan?

I will post up in a couple days a location/time/date for a very casual meetup, perhaps involving copious amounts of alcohol - - somewhere near the downtown core (Seattle).

It would be fun to just get together, drink (if that's your thing) and tell war stories.

Look forward to meeting whoever can make it!

We'd like to get a rough estimate of the number of people that have interest in meeting on the evening of June 23rd.

If you could either post a reply or drop me a PM with your location, that will help determine what location would be central to everyone.

Sticksandstones has asked me to set this up since she is busy busy busy! Looking forward to the 23rd!

Update for anyone interested in attending SEAPEX that is not already on the private forum:

We're going to be meeting at Satsop (Nuclear Plant) in Elma, WA at 10:00am on Saturday, June 23rd.

Here you will be able to access one of the most interesting 'abandoned' structures in the state, as well as meet some of the local (and national) explorers. This exploration will be open to anyone who can make it out. We have legitimate access, and will likely stay for around 6 hours. Be sure to bring some snacks/water as the food options are limited in the area.

I just want everyone to know that we never intended to make this an exclusive club. Unfortunately one of the locations we've planned for the first day is a bit of a logistical nightmare and with the amount of people we already have confirmed, pulling it off with more than 30 will be a challenge.

I am still responding to PM's and will try and get as many people on board as possible without jeopardizing the safety of the group. Let me know if you have any questions, and we hope to see you at the Satsop portion of the event.

Thanks for the update! Good to know the Elma event is open to all. Do you need a headcount before-hand or not? I've seen some amazing pics that some of you have taken of this site.......and I'm excited to shoot there, if i can make it.

I'm going to be up in Bellevue for another thing, and I'm hoping to break away for the Satsop trip. Anyone heading to Satsop from that area with a spare seat?

If anyone else is interested, shoot me a PM for details.
