So...is this going to happen or not? There's still Alaska...
I really do think that northern wa is a good spot as its midpoint for everyone
I am down for a Seattle meet/convention or basically anywhere in Wa/OR ... wouldn't mind helping out with it either

A friend and I were talking about a meetup in the Portland area around Christmas. Half the people I know from AK are living in Portland now for some reason Any interest in something like that?

Sounds good to me. I'm moving to Portland next week from Philadelphia. Should be fun. And if anyone 'round those parts wants to do some exploring PM me. It'd help the transition go much more smoothly, I think.
In the space of a smile I found sleep. |

Centralia WA (roughly half way between Seattle and Portland) or Portland OR

As someone from AK living in Portland, I approve! Around Christmas means I'd be back in AK visiting family though
I propose we meet whenever at Voodoo Donuts.

Someone needs to buy a huge boat so we can all go island hopping up the inside passage!

We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained we must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be by the better angels of our nature. |

I'll be in Alaska sometime in May, but mostly outside of Juneau in the ghost town where I grew up. If anyone's in Juneau around that time, we should get a mine trip going.

I'm up for something in the seattle or whatcom/skagit areas.
Seattle would be cool, but there is so much renewal going on the list would be interesting to come up with.
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. |

Another vote for Seattle, but since I'm a newbie, I don't know if it counts ;)
yeah it sounds like most people are now in the Portland or Seattle area both are pretty accessible and they practically give away train tickets now so i vote Seattle but i might be a bit biased since i happen to live there. i also happy to be brand new here so a Con. in Seattle right as i get into the thick of it would be pretty kick ass. that's my 2 cents anyway...
Voted most likely to fall from great hights... |
