I will be putting a 3.3 svx engine in one of my vanagons when I get the time, they sound sweet with exhausts!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the engine the worst/most unreliable part of the SVX?

(Apart from the fact that it only came with an automatic transmission.)

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

no, the price tag was the most undesirable part of the SVX... it was terribly overpriced.
Subaru also offered an FWD version of the SVX... wasn't enough to save the car.

My dad had a pearl white aw svx with a black roof, man that was a pretty damn good car! The transmission was the problem, most failed quite early but you can swap in a 5 speed pretty simple (Subaru's are like Lego's).

I think this was the last time. But yeah.

And yeah, the movie was pretty bad. Really didn't carry on the spirit of the originals.

I do, and it reminds me of my childhood. I can almost smell it right now just thinking about it. And how I would give anything to be 11 years old again, sitting in my moms car.

Maybe when I'm 70.

these ads are funny... 'racing clutch doesn't like abuse'. Um, yeah, that's why you buy a clutch for racing, so it can take abuse. (facepalm)

How much of the 4500 does the purple interior panels make up? That level of custom has to be most of it!
