I went to check this out tonight... I remember it from the show scene in the 90s. Needs to be totally gone over as it's been parked for 15 years (and painted, totally debadged, and the wheels need to go... and so does that spoiler) but I think I'm in love. It's running a cammed 1835CC with a dry sump and quad Webers.

Actually, factory built car from Brazil, built using VW parts. (It's an '81 Puma GTI)

i remember these cars... a VW dealer (like a large one) could pull strings and get one into North America for a plus on the sticker. I haven't seen a Puma in at least fifteen years.
