Good to know, thanks, will just drive the puppy for now. They should have made a wagon version! Your engine makes mine look sick, lol. Lifesavers should pay you to drive it as promo

I like Luminas, and the Monte, but those huge doors, and the Monte doesn't seem as reliable from reading online. Cutlass engine bay and buried battery are like the '92 Lumina Z34 (notorious 3.4) I briefly owned.

beware the 3100. NOTORIOUS for head gasket and intake gasket set failures. Other than that, as a W-body, fairly bulletproof.
I had a 98 Lumina and a 99 Monte Carlo, structurally the same car as your Cutty.
and does your engine look like this? :P

"Has some rust" - Yeah. It's a Mk3. And it has 4 doors! Like every other Mk3 Jetta (not including the not-very-well-done 2 door I saw at a VW show a couple years ago)

...plus the idiot spelled Volkswagen wrong in his ad.

I'd pay $800 for that one. My $300 '94 Jetta from a few years ago was in better shape but it wasn't diesel.

Has some rust = Its f*cked. haha

Its only worth just over half of what he's asking assuming everything is fine, and the thing is right and tight. - Which it won't be. My current mk3 if you minus all the extras i bought with it (trunk full of brand new parts) it works out to be about a $500 car.
I didn't know you owned a mk3? 2.0? trim?

Where'd you get a picture of Sam's car?

the car had the 2.2L OHV... it was a pushrod engine. Hence the vanity plate. When I traded for the Cobalt, i traded in the G0T 0HV plate for G0T D0HC.

Anything else?

No i understand that, what I'm more referring to is Overhead valve, or mores even overhead cam isn't really something to write home about - even in the early 90's. Vw had overhead cam - in 74ish! Its a cool license plate, its just sorta interesting to put it on a late 90's car.

I got blown off the road in my BMW by a red EG Civic with "ONLY1CAM" as the license plate.
