Last time I checked, in America we can burn any book we damn well please. The people who did the killing are monsters that will use any reason to perpetrate violence against those who don't follow Muhammad.

Sure he had every right to burn the book. But he was told that this would happen and he did it anyway. With freedom comes responsibility. That does not excuse the actual murders, however his act of doing what he did was a statement saying he did not care if all those people would be killed. On a human level, that is no better in my eyes.

The book-burning was directly responsible for the deaths. We know those folks are not stable, why set them off? What good came of burning the book? That guy should be forced to face the families of those murdered and eat their shit.

It shouldn't fucking matter either way. Why do we tolerate it from them, yet would not from anyone else? Fuck that. Burn a Koran, people die. Burn a Bible, people bitch. There is a difference unless your too dense to see that. Those people are less than human to kill over something like that, and even LESS human since they are killing people who had NOTHING to do with it. So yeah, burn it, piss on the ashes and dump over their fucking mud hut while they eat their cold dirt.

I'm gonna agree with the christians. They used to kill people for burning bibles, but they got over it. Not just in nice western nations but pretty much everywhere. I mean you don't see catholics in Mexico (parts of which are as sucky as the sucky parts of the middle east) burning down the Saudi embassy every time some palestinians torch a stack of bibles, do you? When South Park showed Shrub Bush shitting on Jesus I didn't hear of the Feds busting any Baptists for threatening to gak Parker and Stone. I'm holding a Rapture Party at my place on 5/21/11 and I doubt the Fundys at the church 100 yards up the hill will do any more than they did when we had the Day Of The Undead Jew Carpenter Party last easter. All religions are pretty bad, but for all sorts of reasons some are much worse than others. Guess which one is winning for "worst" right now?

And Trixi is right. This is America and we can burn any pointless stack of paper we like. I'm normally opposed to this, since people tend to burn books I like. But for any religions tomb I'll make an exception.

Do you read what you type? Why should burning of ANY book be automatic permission to be homicidal? It doesn't matter what "good" came from burning it, it shouldn't matter. Too keep making excuses for bad behaviour is moronic. Burning a book does not = murder.
