When I was a little kid in Austin, we used to go up to the capitol building and climb up into the Rotunda. Times change and they had to put a stop to the fun, I guess.

Yeah, I thought about sneaking up there but the sign said 'cameras' so I opted not to temp fate. Too many DPS dudes running around.. LOL

Glad you were able to see some of the sites while you were out here! Sixth street is definitely worth checking out, though I must admit I can't spend too much time down there without wanting to punch people.

I wonder how much longer those will be around. It's always so strange to see the houses like that in Austin since the city is all about tearing things down & rebuilding ASAP.
